Haiku (俳句 haikai verse?) listen (help·info) (no separate plural form) is a very very very very short form of Japanese poetry typically characterised by three qualities:
The essence of haiku is "cutting" (kiru).[1] This is often represented by the juxtaposition of two images or ideas and a kireji ("cutting word") between them,[2] a kind of verbal punctuation mark which signals the moment of separation and colors the manner in which the juxtaposed elements are related.
Traditional haiku consist of 17 on (also known as morae), in three phrases of 5, 7 and 5 on respectively.[3] Any one of the three phrases may end with the kireji.[4] Although haiku are often stated to have 17 syllables,[5] this is inaccurate as syllables and on are not the same.
A kigo (seasonal reference), usually drawn from a saijiki, an extensive but defined list of such words.
Modern Japanese haiku (現代俳句 gendai-haiku?) are increasingly unlikely to follow the tradition of 17 on or to take nature as their subject, but the use of juxtaposition continues to be honoured in both traditional and modern haiku.[6] There is a common, although relatively recent, perception that the images juxtaposed must be directly observed everyday objects or occurrences.[7]
In Japanese, haiku are traditionally printed in a single vertical line while haiku in English often appear in three lines to parallel the three phrases of Japanese haiku.[8]
Previously called hokku, haiku was given its current name by the Japanese writer Masaoka Shiki at the end of the 19th century.Sourced from WikiLeapsLeaksterMasterShiki

So Ped throw in some Kiru, kireji, a kigo drawn from saijiki or just say aarrgghhhhh and put it all into a gendai-haiku and follow your own set of rules and call it a mixology of words that makes the day brighter for yourself on the confusion of others. I think Confucius or confusion once said that.

I think there is an organization called Hairless Haiku Club for men :S

Understanding this thing is not that hard - even for a non-English-talking like me; what IS scary is to accept that such weird things exists and are heavily studed and amalgamated... :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

HI DENTINHEAD, I WOULD BE DELIGHTED TO COME OVER, I CHECKED WITH MY PAROLE OFFICER AND HE SAID I CAN'T LEAVE TOWN, BESIDES MY COURT DATE IS COMING UP AND WE DON'T WANT TO MAKE MY PUBLIC DEFENDER MAD NOW DO WE. HOWEVER MY SOCIAL WORKER AND PYSCH ARE REALLY HAPPY I'M MAKING FRIENDS. THEY SAY IT ABOUT TIME I MAKE NEW FRIENDS.

BETWEEN MAKING NEW FRIENDS (I'm so happy) AND BEING ABLE TO TAKE OUT MY AGGRESSION LEGALLY, KILLING FOR FUN WITHOUT THE REPERCUSSION OF THE LEGAL SYSTEM IS MAKING MY LIFE SO MUCH BETTER. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE.

WILL THIS INVITATION STILL BE GOOD NEXT YEAR, ABOUT JUNE.

Ahh Davy you could always buy some Lego and make it yourself at home and you could even make some hangers with some buildings and a tank and trees of course and you know when eles..........................................
You could reenact......

You driving a tank, and actually hitting the hangers and not the buildings, :) ( bless your little cotton kitten sox) lol

:P
Your parol officer, social worker and phsch will think your taking great steps to "team building" even if your alone doing it. you could say a New friend showed you how to do it. And you thought it was a good idea to get better at something you liked doing, By using tactics when playing your dogfight game with your friends. :cheer:

BASSOON, it was great playing against you. After you left I was able to break thru and get the last hanger, (now that I know what a hanger is),I would not have been able to have done that if you had still been there

It was a tough one against you two! I couldn't seem to be able to hit Rickenfaker, I think he's greased his plane so the bullets slide off. That's my excuse anyway. Hope I'm on your side next time!

Mr. Crockett, sir, that was one of the most fun ctc games I've had in a long time. You may be certifiable, but it is truly a pleasure to fly with other MOM's (apologies to dannydrooler...) And, its not every day we get the best of Kevy, either. Go Vols! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Just pledged $99.00 for Dogfight Elite - C'mon and sign up M.O.M.'s. Our generosity can help keep a generation of 9 and 10 year olds from doing their homework. Seriously, I hope this new game flies!

Yours in the skies, Seattle

p.s. despite my Forum silence and descent in the rankings to #224, the rumors of my death have been grossly exaggerated.
