I showed my dad your video he said he would think about it. Good thing there are more than 20 days left.

I'm a backer! Hopefully more people will pledge, as there is a long way to go. Even if you donate a dollar that's one dollar closer. If everyone that played the game donated, pledged, there would be more than enough funding, right? So get pledging!

yeah sky, hit him where it will do good. the art of deal making is a fact of life. what does your dad need done so he can relax? cut the grass...do dishes...take out garbage....or a combination of all the above. you will do better asking how you can earn the $$ than just hoping he will fork it out. i know i would i jump on it if my kid asked me. BUT you have to filfill your pledge both to him and to DF...honor ya know.

Joaquin, while it'd be awesome to have someone take up so much of the amount in one fell swoop with a $10,000 donation, honestly, the game is too small for any non-aircraft based company to spend that much on it. No matter how rich they are, they want to get even richer. I'd suggest dropping the price for that, or maybe letting us offer special deals to some companies? I can write a generic email and send it to a ton of marketing departments in almost no time, which I'll do tomorrow.

About the pledges, yep only 45 dogfighters or so have donated. I was thinking probably many would donate $1, but certainly more people :/
Maybe they didn't see this topic? Did you tell them on their squadron thread?

At the risk of sounding redundant are you playing with a joystick that allows for rudder control and full throttle?

I'm writing to you because you are a Dogfight member. If you haven't been following the forum lately, there is lot of good news coming along.



First, we are looking for funding for Dogfight Elite, the above is an actual image of the game. We need your help so you can check the video and cool new images on our kickstarter page: www.kickstarter.com/projects/echoboomapps/dogfight-elite

Dogfight Elite will be a tribute to the heroes of WWI & WWII. It will not only be action packed but also include an educational and historical dimension so that you will get to know about what events in history provoked changes in the war, technology and what pilots were responsible for those too.

So far we received fantastic support from the community. We already raised over $7000 in less than a week and all rewards for people that pledged $500 are gone! We are very thankful to everyone!

But we need to get the word out. You don't need big bucks to help us. You can help us with only $1 (and get your free in-game plane!) or just by sharing it with your contacts and friends.

Clarification... NOT a Walmart gift card. A visa (or other major CC brand) gift card that you can buy at Walmart.

It is time for announcements! Those that pledge for The Dogfighter reward or higher, will receive a unique in-game aircraft. The great Fokker D.VIII

History of Fokker D.VIII

The Fokker E.V was a German parasol-monoplane fighter aircraft designed by Reinhold Platz and built by Fokker-Flugzeugwerke. It entered service with the Luftstreitkräfte in the last months of World War I. After several fatal accidents due to wing failures, the aircraft was modified and redesignated Fokker D.VIII. I need the know if this can be DLC for Dogfight Elite for like $5 on the App Store.I don't have quite enough cash to pledge that much but that is my favorite Fokker.I would like to buy it in game I we get Dogfight Elite.Please think about this Zup.

I've thrown my $99 into the mix. Lord knows I've gotten that much fun out of the current game!
