I'm with you on this. Paul, you do what makes you happy. From our personal conversations, I know what a kind and generous man you are. This gesture is no surprise. As with all pledges, I appreciate everyone's contributions. You just always seem to go the extra step.

DANG Mantz!! that is very generous.....but you arent a "sucker"....a soft heart yes but a sucker no. look at it this way....if may have been money going to charitable endeavors but if echoboom hits the big time maybe they will carry the touch and be benevolent knowing where the money to fund them came from. so in a way it could be sowing the seeds to make the charity go even further down the road.

btw, I just got an email that got me a little teary, the son of an actual WWII ace is pledging and wrote to me before he did. I'm waiting for his permission to post about it because I just loved it

Wow... Paul made a bit of a dent there.... This couldn't have come at a worse possible time for me. I've had to put a few thousand into my own business this month, and have to come up with about 2500 more by the end of the month. In the mean time, freight rates dipped this month at the beginning of the second quarter, and I've had a bit of trouble lining up my loads to make all of this crap work. You've got a great game going here. I believe in self motivation, and working your butt off to make things happen, rather than just waiting for things to come your way. For this I respect everything you are doing, and tip my hat to you. Unfortunately, this month at least, I'm in the same boat as you (trying to squeeze every dime to get my little business through the month). I don't know how long this kickstarter thing will be going, but I'll do what I can, when I can.

the easiest way would be to have a thread of the shirts. each shirt in its own post...the most "likes" wins. personally i like the first and the last one....the second shirt comes in next and i am not too nuts about 3 & 4. ideas for a shirt? maybe one with both a ww1 and ww2 fighter..

As if now i cant pledge do to my mother wont let me have her info she says her identite will get stolen whatever but ive had a question and looked and cant seem to find the awenser to ZUPERMAN why does the time to raise the money have to be so short i mean is there any possiblle way to make the dead line longer whats the issue with that never understood why such little time to raise so much? Im not complaining but just asking why? Remeber this The Roman Empire wasnt created in ine day... Good news (I hope), I finally got influential gaming site Rock Paper Shotgun to take notice of DF Elite after I emailed RPS writer Tim Stone about his story yesterday on the passing of legendary flight sim developer Jim Mackonochie . Here is what he replied:
