For Dixie and all of those wonderfully enthusiastic guys that say they want to help, here's a suggestion. When you are ingame. Chat up the other players. Tell them about Elite. Very few pilots visit the forum. Encourage them to visit the forum and learn about Elite!

After i do the ritual of naming my favorite players when I Join i will then tell the about elite and tell them to go on forum. Good idea bird guy

@whoisthisguy I can try to accomodate as much as possible once the kickstarter goal is reached. At that point we will have the private forum ready and we can work it out together

The Squad Name has to be a eye catcher that everyone asks us about it!
We tell them that they just have to hit the forum button. Member or not does no matter !

An additional suggestion... When you talk it up keep it mysterious. Tell them they have to go look. Do not mention it as a fund raiser or some of them just won't come.

Lol, just met a guy by the name of reefkiller. He had it set in his mind that DF Elite is a scam, and I was just trying to get money out of him. Eventually convinced him to come check us out.

These are brilliant ideas! I think lets have the banner to say "Donate 4 DF Elite". I just received an email "we have reached $4000" if we can make more players aware we might reach our goal and beyond before the deadline

I know I am sounding a bit negative but is there a possability that if this funding thing fails you could set up a donation tab in the game dogfight so we can continue to donate to you. Also the donations will go to you right then and there insted of when you hit the goal. That way you can start paying for things and people will start puting money aside every week or month to donate $30 a week as a example or 100 a month for example. This is looking down a bit. To meet out goal we need 125,000 or more. To get that in time we need to be getting $4,167 a day to reach that. We have already fallen short of that.

Still asking mom. About 5-6 times daily. I will get her to give in } lol. Hopefully she will give is. If i keep this up. She will crack.

jeez go away for a couple days and the whole world changes! this is good news. i am donating but do have a couple questions...you said for a certain amount we will get a hard copy disc for PC/Mac...does that version support a joystick?? will it still connect to the servers that people with portable devices are playing on? if you havent etched in stone the paint scheme for the P51s...or you plan to have skins...i would love for you to consider the paint job my fathers fighter group the 357th had. that is my dad's plane at the bottom left...the Cathy Mae II. would love to be able to fly a 357th bird into combat...how can i bend you arm?? lol. now i got to go to the other forums and tell them this news...

For those with questions about joysticks:

There is little doubt in my mind that Zup would make pc/mac versions joystick compatable. But if not there are ways to make any game joystick or gaming controller compatable.

I have a playstation/xbox type generic controller for my pc that is fully configurable to my needs. If turning the plane can only be done with keyboard arrows in a game, I can configure a special setup for multiple games where pushing buttons on the controller or even joystick axis will basically make the computer think u are pushing the required keyboard key.

I know joysticks with similar configuration capabilities exist as well. I got my gaming controller after becoming frustrated and cramped using keyboard keys on a game last year, it works swell.

Ok Zuperman here is a idea i am not very good with buisness stuff but say we dont get the money by the deadline is there anyway you could get investors who whould own % of the company or a loan? And have everone pay amount fo the game when it comes out to pay off this loan?

What I mean is if this fails I think we need a way to still donate money were our money gets to Joaquin even if we don't meet the goal. Yes this will take longer to get there but just have a donation button on the dogfight app and people can donate when ever they feel. After a while we will eventually meet out goal even if it takes a year.
