My guess is that the missus can't handle a grown man who sits in a corner and crying like a baby.
She allows me to get me a new phone :woohoo:

So now I need your help.
Which phone should I buy?
Galaxy S4
iPhone 5
Galaxy mega .... Dear God give me strength, you will need a suitcase to bring it with you
HTC
Xperia

I will use it for two things mainly:
communicating by telephone or text, and play DF

I must be able to bring it in my pocket so that mega probably go away by the size-related problem,
although the screen size looks attractive for DF

Help me choose the right one

I don't know how the iPhone 5 is bell but the 4 is unplayable now. The games glitch like the practice mission with the snow. You should start a topic on it. Ask Manfred which phone he has cuz he has a lot of probs staying in the game.

DF still quits on my Galaxy S4 (U.S.), much better than my Galaxy S3 (U.S.). Non-U.S. S3's didn't seem to have a problem, so maybe it's the same for European S4's.
But as a smartphone, I really like my S4!

I've heard the same reports Manfred has heard, Bell. The Galaxy S4 is a phenomenal Android phone but may have incompatibility issues around the edges with Dogfight. And yet, as Manfred points out, this is based on sporadic glitchy behavior in U.S. phones, non-U.S. versions might be stable.

My carrier is T-Mobile and I follow review sites like CNET. The solid consensus is that the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One are neck and neck. The Samsung is teeming with so many features you'll know most of them are even there, it has a barely larger display and more flexible storage. It's also made of cheap plastic typical of Samsung products. The HTC is an elegant design, has a very cool operating system overlay (HTC Sense) and a gorgeous display. It's a hair smaller and a much more quality feeling build but the Samsung crushes it on features and storage capacity. If all you're doing is using it as a phone and a Dogfight device you can probably look at 'em side by side and pick the one that feels best in your hand/pocket/ear.

All this is assuming the HTC One is even available where you are, which it may not be. I know that Jasmine/420 is in love with her Samsung Note II but it would definitely exceed your pocket space limitations. The freakin' thing is huge!

Dont know if its available there but I have had the LG Optimus G since March of this year. Its the first quad core phone available in US markets. One word: Badazz..this thing is stupid fast, and the resolution of the screen kills everything out there. Its got one of the highest reviews. The only thing it doesn't come with is a foot massage but I've heard they are working on that too. Scope it out:

So, question is, now that I'm in M.O.M. how in Oblivion (idc which realm) do I attach the squad tag? Help is definitely appreciated and I hope to see you guys online tomorrow provided the wifi truly is back to its god awful normal self :P

Tad P of D, just go to "Tools" at the top of this page, click Join a Squad, the gizmo will walk you through the rest. Be sure to hit Save after scrolling the list and selecting M.O.M. Dasallderiz to it!

I'm a lover of all things Apple. But, if you want to jailbreak your phone or anything like that, Android is probably in order.

Well'Ohh'Come back you teen in angst you! :P Sput, please hide the skittles

Bell I went from a droid to an I-Phone 5. Before I did that I was always an avid Droid user. Did not want to be part of the Apple family of products. But everyone in my work uses I-Phone, so for e-mails, contacts ettccc.. thought it would be better to be able to share info quicker if I was on the same platform. From the research here in the US, I found apple had less connection problems for phone use, but was slower on apps and as Jacklpe said, personalization is limited to apps.

But then again, the phones here in the us vary differently then Europe and even Asia. So I would go by what users in Sweden are saying. If you want to personalize your phone, Apple product is not the way other than buying apps.

So I would go with something you are comfortable with, it does what you need it to do and the price is not over the top. I would suggest for you, the G-Shock phone, this way you can run into things, drop it and not hurl it into pieces. I have protection plan on my phone since I often end up into the wall, tripping over coffee table, slamming into windows and doors. :pinch:

A lot to take in considuration. Htc one you can't change to a bigger battery, same with iPhone.
Galaxy s4 gets so hot its uncomfy to hold.
Maybe jailbreake a s4 and under clock it would make it run colder.
Not 2 is huge but it looks tempting.
The Lg I haven't heard about. The price isn't the issue bc the top models from all manufactors is pretty much the same.
~$900-950

$900? Ugh man thats steep. Guess that's how it is in Europe. Phones are pretty much free or no more than $200 with a contract here. I got the LG because it was the only quad core, expandable memory, latest droid version, all the bells and whistles and cake with a cherry on top.

Most things seems to be at a lower price in US.
I would by a lott more stuf from US if it where for your byrokracy and all paperwork.
After 9-11 you closed your borders and even a pice of wood can be classified as a whepon.
I would love a good pice of redwood but its hard to get.
