Hello MOM'ers and stalkers (yes you falconian, bog off to your thread!)

Mrs Roo and I have purchased a dog today and both us and the boys are thinking of names, so my question to you lot is.......

Wig. ! ??? B)

Attachment not found

(That was Mrs Roo's suggestion before any more questions about my sexuality arise!)

The only other names so far are:-

Peso (Octonauts, google it)

Kiyo (British Superbikes, google it)

Or

Dog!

Feel free to suggest names but we have determined that the following would be strange....

Bellsaj, bopes, coop, Noushbag, m4tin, j4ff, jimboslice??, Parrothead (very strange for a dog) Mean ol'devil, Mavrk12, mad to the bone (interesting), Ronnie Biggs (probably frowned upon here in the U.K) Ktheo. YEMX (very strange) flying muck, FlyMagic.

Mavrk12 wrote: Congratulations to all the new members of the MOM squad, SonnyCruz, JangSoo, beanboy, & KA5EY!! Glad to have you guys on board. Wig, you out did yourself with these new banners. Karma to ya!!

I have a few questions for all you MOMsters out there. I thought it appropriate to ask these question here instead of creating a new thread.

1. What do you like about MOM?
2. In a game, what do you value most, quantity or quality?
3. Who is your favorite MOM? And why? (I said MOM, not MOMs, MOM. Kapeesh? So choose one please) Who ever gets the most votes will be MOM of the month (M.O.T.Mo). Winnder gets an expense paid vacation to no-mans land. I hear the daisies are in bloom in that area. :woohoo: Voting ends this Friday at 9pm CT.

Keep your answers to less than 250 words please. Some of us are old, and time is valuable. Anything more than 250, well, we'll just lose interest, then it's time to take a nap. :woohoo:

1. There is nothing that I don't like about MOM. The friendliness, the team spirit, every ones sense of humor, Paul's great pics, songs, and wit. Wigs way of writing that makes me feel like a caveman when I post :) and the great banners.

2. Quality. I like a good game. Good team mates that play as a team and communicate to get the job done. Love to have a MOM or two on my team.

3. I haven't played with or talked to a MOM that I don't like. I'd have to vote for all the ones that invited me to join. If not for the invite i may never have even looked at the forum. I wouldn't be on here now if not for them. Every one brings a nice flavor to this strange stew.

OK, OK, so I choose...

WIG!

...

Not for that "Who's MOM you like most" thing, but for Richyroo pet's name.

And to Dent: Geez, after years of "engrich training" on internet (the little I know I learned by myself, no professors), only now I googled to find out what the hell the word "LMAO" means!
Hopefully you got that joke, Dent!

And to not be kidding: please, everyone, be seirous: is Paul Mantz Jr 75 years old, really?????

And giving a real answer to Mavrk12's question #3: Wig. I love his texts, like his sense of humour, and like the fact that I am not the only one here suffering from Attention Deficit Disorder. Yes, we are psychos! Beware, Mad Old Monkeys! I ran out of methylphenidate!

But now, I don't like Wig anymore. Sorry, New York Bard.

Now my favorite is Mantz.

(Wondering who is going to be the next... enjoy while I like you Mantz, it wont last any longer - ask Dent and Wig!)

Cute Poochie, make sure the Doc doesn't see it, he may try to recruit him..and what's wrong with Noushbag? It's quite versitile ya know, you can call him "Noushy Noush" in times of endearment or when he pees on your favorite "keep calm and carry on" cup of tea, you can say "you damn bag of *#&&)" in a British accent of course, to be proper and all...Naaa, stick with WIG, has more of a bite. :cheer: My buddy named his dog DOG, pronounced "Dee Oh Gee" LOL

Mav, you gun jumper, you! M.O.M of the Month has been in development since September, bub! In collaboration with Paul I've been polishing up several new features for the thread. Anthony's Oh Caption, My Caption feature is already fully launched and a stone cold blast. Paul and I have some aviation history features coming soon. Parrot has volunteered to take on the M.O.M o' the Month work, we'll be building that one together but he's already got a great jump on formatting the thing.

Ha! In was going to suggest D-O-G. There was an old guy that lived around the corner when I was a kid. Named his dog that. He pronounced the letters all as one word like Noush said. I didn't have a clue. I asked him one day, what does Deeyogee mean? He says, "old Indian (feathers not dots, for non-North Americans) word, means dog". The old man and dog were long dead before I realized he was "taking the piss out of me" as y'all say. I never said in was a bright kid.

Wig is a great name, but as long time dog owner and someone that worked at a police K9 training facility, 2 syllable names are best. They respond better and recognize the names easier. Most commands are one syllable and a short 2 syllable name helps the dog tell the difference. Sit BooBoo sit.
Fuck this place. Second rate hack playing in a yard that's too big for him.

Apologies for yet another intrusion. As self-serving as this sounds, but maybe not since it's not my name anyway, doesn't the pooch kinda look like a Manfred? "Sit Manfred! Good doggiiiiieee!"

I think that's all I have to say about that.

This is a picture of my new pup. I lost my other border collie last year. Oh my god how sad it was. You see I had just purchased a brand new SUV and we decided to go unto the middle of the lake to do some lake fishing. Well we had to blow a hole into the ice so we took a stick of dynamite and threw it. Well the dog, who likes to play, chase frisbees, and bring them back, ran after the dynamite. He started running back with it and was very encouraged by us waveing our arms and yelling. We took our shot gun and started shooting, the dog now being very confused ran under the SUV to hide. The dynamite blew and the new SUV sunk. It was so sad. The insurance company would not cover our losses.

Had a great BTB game this evening with lots of MOMs. Blobularz, Bellsaj, Blue Max, Flymagic, and peg leg Davyyy Crockett. Guess who dominated the bomb scene thereby ending the eternal siege, Mr. Magic and his secret train...ddaaaagggnaaaabbiitttt Paul ;)

Thanks for the great game, makes up for all the other nonsensical games I have been in lalely and reminding me why this game can be a great escape from the regular rigamarole out there.

Thanks again!

Beat me to it bro. The first thing that came to mind was Deyogee too. Mr Edwards, right? That crazy old coot. It was a while too before I realized it was D-O-G. Great name; go for that one Richy.

I may fly under the radar, but I aim high.
