Thanks BlueMax for that victory against Whiplash and the other tough red whose name I cant remember. I only managed to do 2 kills and NO ONE HANGAR BOMBED since I arived!
That was the worst acting I ever had on this game! Things are becoming hard to me... I can't even aim as I used to do months ago!!!!
Should buy a better device (larger screen, better resolution, etc.). Playing this game on a cellphone is for young people, not for me...

I don't think it's the device as much as other people or getting better at NOT getting shot down, just as we did

PED: My phone broke so I got the Kindle Fire HD and the game is soooo much easier to see. I don't like that you HAVE to buy from Amazon. You can't use Google Play Store. Get the bigger screen.

That's the problem, Doc... In head-ons, you need to choose: or you avoid being shot, or you try to aim - I can't do both things, I don't have enough skills nor a good vision. My left thumb shakes. So, no skill improvement - forget it... My only choice is to try to see a larger dot under red player's name...

Fedayen2.0 was the other player. May not have spelled that right. He is a real good guy to have as a team mate. It was a stale mate till the MOMs showed up. Good team work wins every time. I ended it with a super lucky long range tank shot. Thanks for the help. We weren't winnin with out you. Lookin forward to playing more with you.

My wife got me an iPad for Christmas the biggest one. I love it. I was pretty deadly on the iPhone but the IPad brought my game to a whole other level. The phone strains my eyes and gives me a head ache. She was tired of hearing me cry about not being able to see and make long shots.

Fellas I invited HeavensDoor to drop by and apply. Should be saying hello soon. If you see em in game chat em up. Good team player and always friendly. Think he'd be a good addition.

Pedro, you definitely need to get a tablet. If you are an apple fan I highly recommend the ipad. An hd kindle is nearly as good

I use the big ipad. Just have to have wifi. I hot spot my iPhone for wifi. So I can do it any where I have 3G and a good signal. 10 gigs on the phone for wifi. I play a lot and don't come close to using it all. Sux when some one calls though. blinks me out of game till the phone stops ringing. A few seconds later the connect comes back unless I answer then it drops my connection.

Ped, I haven't tried this but am considering it...don't know if it would be "cheating" though but if you get a tablet, you can use a cable like this for the Ipad to connect it to your TV. Imagine playing this on a 50" TV! I bet those Red Dots would be atleast 2-3 Inches of pure red plane goodness! You could probably nail someone from your base to theirs I'm not sure if I want to dish out $30 for a cable though, not to mention, there may be some lag problems. Anyways, I'm pretty happy with the size of the Ipad screen, probably more control too when the screen is in your hand...I just don't know, if anywone has tried this please share your thoughts.

PED: You will get a very short delay. However, it's continuous,not "jumpy" like lag. You'll get used to it. Timing...eg. the bombing pms.
I have made holders for phone & pad. Takes out the shake.

The Doctors interested in this to... A 50" flat screen wall mounted view of the game??? I think my scores just came up...

Ahhhhh can any one say blizzard. Last week 13 1/2 inches. Today they say we may get 19. Already at 10. Snow sux but dogfight is awesome. Time to try and catch the bird in the rankings again. Called every one in my area yesterday and shut em down until further notice. We are all staying warm and safe.

Max, there are 2 ways to connect your ipad to your iPhone when hotspotting. Most people use the traditional wifi hookup and are not aware of the other. I had the same issue with phone calls lagging the game up on my ipad. Then I switched the connection to Bluetooth. No problems since. If you're not already using it. Give that a try.

My hot spot won't hook up with out my blue tooth being turned on. Is there something else I can do. I am not the savviest computer guy. The lag is only during the time of call. The phone jacks the signal. Doesn't do it on texts just calls.

Try putting ur phone in airplane mold I think that will hold incoming calls other than what you call. ie the game

Can't kick my calls off Doc. My job is at least 50% telephone. Sure wish I could though.

I can run more than one device from the hot spot. iPad, computers all at the same time. Had three laptops and my iPad running on it and no lag at all. If some one calls my phone they all get jacked till call is done though. No calls no probs. it comes back quick though. The hot spot is my phone. There is a little switch under hot spot and a pass word for it just like any other wifi. It works great otherwise. Costs a little more on my phone bill but i like it. Bought just for DF.

Checked the pad and phone both have Bluetooth turned on PH.

I think the only way to fix it would be to run it off hard wired wifi.

Max you have to tell the iPad to forget your iPhone under wifi. Then go to Bluetooth and find/connect to iPhone. Had same issue. It should work. Bluetooth connect through my phone is better than wifi at home. It should work. If not PM me and we'll make an a tual phone call and I'll wal k you through it.

BStrachan, I think I gave you the wrong idea. I was not pissed in that game. Just overrun. I had been playing it for 30 minutes before you showed up, got booted and joined back. Still outnumbered. Must of had 75 kills all together. I just had no help. The blue I had was driving a tank around the shore by our carrier, shooting at planes. A lot of help he was!

What ever the comment I made was kind of a joke. Like, ok ok I give, kinda thing. I would just as soon be out numbered, just would like to have one teammate worth a damn!

Hiya M.O.M! We've had some comments and questions about recruiting protocol, Star Chamber deliberation time, the flow of information regarding new recruits:

We have ten or fifteen applicants in the hopper at any given time. We desire to inhibit, not accelerate, the expansion of M.O.M. Therefore, to wit, in lieu, et al, we've decided to admit no more than three new M.O.Ms at a throw. Once on the first-ish of each month we'll announce three or fewer applicants who've been reviewed, assessed, vetted, voted upon and accepted by The Star Chamber. (don't look it up, it won't help) Only newly accepted members' names will be announced. We will not be posting a list of all candidates under consideration. One purpose of creating the Star Chamber system was to free the thread of endless backing and forthing about who's up for membership, who thinks he/she should be out/in, and blah blah bleedin' blah.

The one month recruitment cycle will give a new applicant more than enough time to arrange to fly with Star Chamber members, give us time to get to know the person behind the player (posting casual "get to know me" stuff is strongly encouraged) and allow us to weigh the best of the month's crop of applicants one against the other before making selections to put up for a super-sized squad vote. If you've recommended a player to apply via the link on Page 1 it's your responsibility to PM me, Coop, SheiBe, Bopes or any SC member if you want to follow up. We won't call you, you call us. All of this is designed to ensure that we're not all out there slinging "invitations" around like hits of X at a Deadmau5 show. Nothing says you must follow up, but if you're a sponsor of a prospect you should, and you should keep comments about recruiting off the thread.

For recruits who've applied, don't despair if your name isn't one of this month's three. When we limit ourselves to only three some percentage of the better candidates will roll over to the following month. No reflection on your skill, your sparkling personality or the weight your sponsor M.O.M carries in the squad. Stay active in the pipeline as long as you like, or write and ask for a definite IN or OUT, or withdraw your application if you're impatient to get into a less discriminating squad...I have one I can recommend. It's entirely up to you.

Again, we aren't withholding info, we're handling the initial steps of the process in a slightly more organized fashion so the squad doesn't end up sinking under the weight of an endless incoming stream of new members. History shows us that M.O.Ms are so mean they can't bear to say no.
