Just dropping by to say I had blast playing a lot of great games with MOM's this evening. Yemx, Junkie, Snowbumm, Mmiller, Diesel, @nonymous, policechiefwigum, bopes, and Mr. Dent. Was great seeing so many MOM's out.

That last game of btb with Yemx, Junkie, and Dent. 2 words- Sheeeshhh marieeee!!!!!!!! Great job on both sides.

Yes that was a great game!! One thing I really like is the back and fourth in chat. Some may get bothered by it, however I always have more fun with a couple of MOM's busting on each other... That is the thing that motivated my to try so hard to make it as a MOM.. As newer players come in I always try and let tem know is all apart of the fun... Thanks guys

I just got out of a great bomb the carrier game.

My side was the weaker, and we getting pushed around by Ernst.udet, [e]snake plissen and Kerouac Kid. I think it was just me and saphireswordz on the short end of a 90-40 score and i was sure that we eventually would be overrun and lose the game.

Then trumpets blared, announcing the arrival of JoseOneKenobi and Fredneck.

Oh! Sweet M.O.M salvation!

We didn't have to say a word, just got to work delivering a professional spanking. We cleaned up after each other, mopping up enemy tanks and parachutes left in the wake of a tide of red airplane carnage that moved swiftly away from our carrier and towards the enemy's carrier. We provided cover for each other while our camerades zeroed in with tanks, and soon it was all over for the foe.

Jose and Fredneck... Great job!

That was a good game fun we had u tell fred and jose came in.we were out numbered then.could not hold off the tanks.epic.if i had some enigma with me would have been a win. that Orville guy was good obviously a new recycled ace.looking forward to another epic battle with u.

I've seeing many of you talking about great battles, and I will register here one that I stil remember. It was a week or more ago, don't remember who was on it (not famous aces, but good average players). It was a bomb the base mission, me and an aspirant against six middle-ranking players, two of them with higher rank than mine.
I got destroyed several times trying the straight path. As you already know, my rank is a "lie", because I don't have good head on skills, and chasing is even worse. And while I was trying to get through that red storm, I had to teach my teammate how to parachute and use the tank. Tough work, typing and being shot...
Reds managed to destroy six hangars, and we didn't even see their base, when I changed my position in the seat, turned off the lights at my room, drunk a little zero-sugar guaraná, and said: lets bomb!
So, I gave up trying to hit red planes, and told my teammate to flank. Suddenly, they decided to chase our planes instead of finishing the game - a bad decision, of course... They tried to split in two groups, chasing each of us at the same time. Then I flied high, doing loops, flying like a dizzy bug, and managed to bomb their base twice, three hangars on each row (of course not in the same trip... duh!). Then I saw that, after being shot many times, my teammate was tanking, near red base, and being hardly chased. I decided to giver him cover, and that was my best sequence of kills I ever had in DF: during two or three minutes, I brought down four or five reds many times each, and my teammate managed to destroy one of the last hangars! I witnessed him going for the last one, and while I was preparing to yell for what would be a heroic victory, they suddenly won (I was fearing that, because I was fighting only four or five reds - one was "disapeared" - he surely put an end on that session)...
That was so close! But that was the best minutes I spent on this game!
Shame I can't remember who was red or who was my teammate (he was one of these guys that uses silly numbered-strange-char-names).
If you, strange-named-one, is reading this, and remember that fight, please identify yourself. I will give you a medal - and a karma point.

Bombed hanger from 2,500'.
Two pilots spawn as it fell.
Two hangers explode.
Pilot 1: What happened?
Pilot 2: They just blew up!
Pilot 1: Nobody on RADAR.
(crickets)
Pilot 1: FLYMAGIC'S here somewhere.
(crickets)

2,500' is my new record.

Yep! Paul's a sneaky old goat! I've not seen a better stealth bomber. I can usually catch the back door/dive bombers, but he's outwitted me at least once in every bombing game I've played against him.

Oddly enough, I don't think we've ever been on the same team.
