Also i know u said u will return the sopwith camel. Could u add that to the next update, but as a better form of its former self. :)

Pretty much in line with Manfred, Wig, and many other detailed suggestions, but my focus would be more on optimizing all the various systems so they can fairly co-exist in-game. Options to delete graphics and other special effects so more limited systems can function in-game with others who have more system memory/speed.

It may be there is some use in having servers specifically available to users based on their system limitations/characteristics.

I'm not sure if it has already been suggested -- but I know everyone would enjoy a Capture the Flag type game. This would REALLY enable a sense of teamwork many pilots crave. From escorting your flag carrier back to base to systematically defending your flag while planning a counter attack on the other team's flag.

Since the "flag" would need to be a flying object, it could be "Capture the Balloon" or something along those lines.

Wow alot of good ideas. Hard to pick the ones that are great. But hears my opinion.

1. Fix the crashes on all platforms
2. A map just for squadwars and a request to join said squad war.
3. Fix Windows 8 Ghosting
4. Add the SwopWith Camel plane back.
5. Reset the terrain to how it used to be.
6. After all that leave this awesome game to be played like it was before.

I like wigs ballon busting idea.

Fix crash upon respawn is a big one too.

I dont want many changes. Its a good game. The trick of making a beautiful painting is knowing when to stop.

I would put the work into a seperate ww2 app like the kickstart campaign had planned.

1) Limit the machine gun range, and overheat the guns to prevent long bursts. This is the first WWI air combat game I have found that doesn't do either, and encourages finger on the trigger distance competitions rather than close in knife fights.

2) Even teams by ability, by using an experience scale. As in, make a Moraf 5 points and Wing Commander 1 point, so five noobs to one Moraf in a game, which would be more equal than 4 Morafs versus four noobs. Make the game constantly look to balance to the lowest differential in point total as people join or leave.

3) It's been said, but plane variability, and more planes. SPAD is a fast swooper, Fokker driedecker and Nieuport 17 are maneuverable turn fighters, but slower, etc

4) Set a random year at the beginning of the match to limit the planes to those available in that era

5) Custom paint or semi-custom paint or semi-custom insignias. Picking from a few standard colors on top wing, cowling, tail and fuselage with a set of stock font insignias will result in millions of combinations (OK so I didn't doa factorial on that, but you get the idea).

6) punish those who take a hit and quit to escape being brought down, only to renter immediately with an undamaged aircraft. One of the ways to game the system, but not the only. Crashes should be more painful to rankings and promotions to discourage crash/reload scenarios that skip the flight back to rearm.

7) New maps, missions. Team dogfight has been mentioned, as well as other good idea.

Bring back the Sopwith Camel as a moraf plane! The zebra has well zebra stripes so maybe polka dots for the Sopwith camel? Lol

How about if you get shot down in enemy territory you are kept prisoner in one of the hangers until a teammate bombs that hangar. You would be able to tell teammates which one your in via chat.
Also when I use to play online poker games wouldn't be able to start until you had a full table, why can't this be done for these games, would ensure even teams to begin with.

custom paint could accept only real $ so Zup gets some money, rather then me spending my existing points painting my plane grass green on top and sky blue on the bottom

A variation on "Capture the Flag" is a popular, recurring suggestion here, but it's always been my understanding that Capture the Carrier was a direct response to just such requests. Perhaps there are ways to make CTC more appealing without scrapping it in favor of a different version of the same thing. Some thoughts:

Make capturing the carriers generate points, similar to shooting a zep. The points generate slower than with a zep and only generate when the carrier is neutral, not when it's red or blue. This would address the primary complaint about CTC, that it's somewhat dull or repetitive and there's too little payoff compared to, say, BTC or BTB and certainly considerably less than in zep killing.

Joaquin, if you do follow through with the working cannon on the carriers the new feature should definitely be incorporated into CTC. Once a carrier is blue, players might have the option of leaving their planes (at which time the clock would stop running) and manning the working cannon to defend the captured carrier against incoming reds. The reds could have the option of trying to bomb the cannon (destroying it and the player manning it, and with a respectable reward in either points or multiple kills or both) but doing so would make them more vulnerable to AA shells. Or they could dodge cannon fire, land and begin re-capturing the carrier, forcing the players manning the guns to make a choice between remaining at those stations or reentering their planes to deal with the reds on deck. Two cannon stations side by side able to be manned by two players at once, working together, might be fun. Other good suggestions have been made here about air versus ground missions, coordinating anti-aircraft with a teammate/squad-mate could be a kick.

All this would fundamentally change the way CTC missions are played and the strategies employed. There would be more at stake; more points, more potential kills, and more variety in how to approach the objective would amp up the mission's entertainment value.

I'm looking for ways to exploit and enhance existing mission types and new features we know you already have or have in the works. I agree that highest priority should be granted to glitch-proofing, tightening, polishing performance of what's already there.

Bombers bombers bombers!!! I have just one request....NO COMPUTER DRONES!
I've tried about every game on G-play amazon ect... nothing is worse than shooting at something with no brains!!! A BIG TURN OFF! This is the only game I play,for that reason!
An idea I was thinking of is, have a auto pilot for the bombers.
U would randomly be selected to fly a bomber, you fly your rout, and when u are being shot at, put plane on a "heading set" auto pilot. Then u just hit the camera bottom and u are now the rear gunner! And dont forget the BOMBSIGHT!

I'll second that. Shooting a plane hardly visible by ww1 machinegun mounted on ww1 plane is ridiculous idea. That combination gived only "spray and pray" accuracy on its best. Also like the idea of overheating guns. How about having some extra ammo on board. Like 200 rounds on other machinegun wich you could load if you run out of ammo.

1. How many people can actually "see" the paint schemes on the planes when your fighting?
2. A WWI Machine gun only carried 200 to 300 rolls ammo so if your wanting realistic affects you better improve your aim.
3. This is a flying game not a tank battle game so keep the tanks as they are plez.
4. One of the things we need is a training station for the new players where older players can help them if they want it. Such as if on chat and they ask for help, tell them go to this server it's for training only there's no points giving or taken and planes are equally equipped. That servers for Training only in Tank and Plane and even foot soldiers. This would also be good place for any and all memorials.
5. Limit the number of bullets in MAX' s pistol to 6 when he's in a chute.....
6. Put Davy back on his UFO and fly him home..... He's DUI or DWI again.
7. Super glue bomb to bottom of Parrots plane so he can't drop it...(the bird poop on my car is bad enough).
8. The Dancing girls are a GREAT ideal we need them at all bases

A more accurate outside plane view/gun sight. you can't really enjoy the sweet graphics of the planes. I can't even hardly fly around in the outside view. you can't hit a thing from the outside plane view. I've tried a bunch of times. I can't even hit a tree much less a plane. I usually end up crashing into the ground because of the way the terrain rolls around.

Realistic bullet range and gun overheat is a good suggestion. Also ballistic drop. Like it does when you shoot from a parachute. Have the same drop in bullet trajectory instead of laser accuracy.

Maybe add in a fuel feature. This could relate to a lot of issues in game. If you did not return to base before your fuel ran out it could count like a crash, or if you landed safely, a time penalty before you get back in the air. Kind of like the time required for your plane to be retrieved from the field. This would also cut down the time a camper could stick around over a base or carrier, " covering the bombers." If someone ran out over enemy lines they could be " captured" and the plane and them held until released in some way. Like in a hanger as someone suggested before. I like the idea of an optional rudder if you wanted it.

Make hangars immune to friendly fire. This would take most of the sting away from teamkillers.
