This game is more about sharp shooting than tactics. Great idea. :)

Get sum new planes so u can spend your points and new missions on practice...maybe the option of combing 2missions together..like bomb the ship then take out the enemy airstrip...allow us to carry more bombs but not affect the speed of the aircraft. Maybe sum type of turbo button would b nice..lol...those r my thoughts...it's been a while since I flew..sup yall

A different map for the different servers. The one map has pretty much been almost the only constant since the game came out. A few years of the same map has become sorta boring. :) thx

How about a new map that is mostly water?

An archipelago with roving carriers or two main lands and several islands. Small airfields on some, which could be captured and defended or used as a reload depot. Ports to destroy, bridges to target and anti aircraft guns to avoid.

I think a water/island level would be really great. You could even replace the tanks for that particular map with some form of small warship. Also, we have snow & grass now. I think a desert map is in order.

I would highly appreciate it if u could work on the "squad bug" I have been missing my squad for over a month..
I would also like to upgrade the game, buts it's not letting me..

I would suggest plane upgrades for $ or points
Damage to runways from bombing making take off harder
More planes
Bombers?
Two bomb option for fighters
Torpedo option for carrier killing
Tank machine gun option
Hangers to drive through for re building, arming which can also be bombed - this makes landing to rearm more fun
If you are shot down over water you convert to boat with cannon not a tank

I like the torpedo idea. But to avoid the torpedo hitting ur boat from across the lake, have a range limit and a speed and altitude requirement for the torpedo to actually work like the real ones.

How about a petrol gauge so you only have a limited amount of time to complete your run, hopefully would stop players just going out to shoot down.!

A multi-engine bomber would be reasonable, slower of course but maybe holds 3 bombs or so? It's lack of speed would make it necessary for fighters to escort it to target. Perhaps it would take several shots to take it down?
The carriers have guns that don't fire, maybe they should be able to protect themselves a little? Wouldn't want to make it too difficult as the matches would just go on forever.

Please no gas limit. I know a lot of people go up high and over and then dive bomb enemy hangars. If there was has limit tye might not be able to do that

Torpedo... Meaning that it'd fall, hit the water, and then accelerate forward into the carrier? Sounds cool, did they have stuff like that to drop from planes back then?

That would take some reworking of the water's physics, tho. Last I remember, it behaved like ground, except you died after being on it too long.

Yep no splashing or sinking just a hard blue colored ground that appears to move. Would be nice to have the water with real physics though.

This got me to do a little research, and this is what I found:

"HMS Ark Royal was arguably the first modern aircraft carrier. She was originally laid down as a merchant ship, but was converted on the building stocks to be a hybrid airplane/seaplane carrier with a launch platform. Launched on 5 September 1914, she served in the Dardanelles campaign and throughout World War I.

During World War I the Royal Navy also used HMS Furious to experiment with the use of wheeled aircraft on ships. This ship was reconstructed three times between 1915 and 1925: first, while still under construction, it was modified to receive a flight deck on the fore-deck; in 1917 it was reconstructed with separate flight decks fore and aft of the superstructure; then finally, after the war, it was heavily reconstructed with a three-quarter length main flight deck, and a lower-level take-off only flight deck on the fore-deck.

On 2 August 1917, Squadron Commander E.H. Dunning, Royal Navy, landed his Sopwith Pup aircraft on HMS Furious in Scapa Flow, Orkney, becoming the first man to land a plane on a moving ship. He was killed 5 days later during another landing on Furious.

Of carrier operations mounted during the war, one of the most successful took place on 19 July 1918 when seven Sopwith Camels launched from HMS Furious attacked the German Zeppelin base at Tondern, with two 50 lb (23 kg) bombs each. Several airships and balloons were destroyed, but as the carrier had no method of recovering the aircraft, two of the pilots ditched their aircraft in the sea alongside the carrier while the others headed for neutral Denmark."

Actually, I think the physics are already present.

Have you ever tried to take off while upside down? Funny as heck to see; a biplane skittering across the ground, upside down. Would a torpedo have to go underwater or would it skim the surface? The "you're sinking" timer could work for the torpedo too; giving it an effective range to consider. ( It would be a blast to chase down boats with torpedoes! ) If they do skim the surface wouldn't they also be able to be shot and destroyed? :huh: :blink: :woohoo:

BTW, Zup was talking about having 5 v 5 soon. :cheer:

Another thing I just thought about is having the allied roundels for your plane be those of your country. As an American, my allied planed would have American Roundels; those from the UK theirs, the French, theirs. etc. Can even include the players from Asia, and Russia too.

Of course, with the German planes, you wouldn't have much choice, but if we threw in some Halberstats and Pfalz's, we could get Austrian-Hungarian markings!

Hi Z

I would love to see a tank game option. We could puchase a tank for our Hanger and when selected be put straight into the tanks only game.

Because the field of play is too large for a tank we (you lol) should set objectives to destroy or capture. i.e. catpture the flag. So the tanks would destroy objects throughout the field of play. Capture objects, perhaps by driving through them before they could be destroyed.
