Congrats to the JOLLY ROGER for the successful purchase of land on my world of dogfight thread.

I have made a once tiny island into a larger island so yall have a spot on the middle of the map to call home.
To insure u like it, stop by the planning office (WORLD OF DF THREAD) and give us ur thoughts :)


At the moment we only have a small map but in the future, with enough web designers, we will try to turn it into a globe with cities, HQs, bases, maybe a carrier or two, and more. But like i said i will need web designer help. Lol.

My father was living in Sweden in 60's and one beautiful day he noticed bad, bad, bad smell in his apartment. He thought there was something wrong with sewer and called plumber. Plumber came and started laughing and told someone is eating surströmming. I've never eaten or even smelled that stuff, but i've heard its horrible.

Spent the weekend hunting, I didnt get anything, but my friend did. We hung it up, and left it over night. It got below 20 degrees that night, it was frozen solid in the morning.


Today, it was a high of 24 degrees with a wind chill of sub 10. We did some shooting, but it coulda frozen the balls off a brass monkey, as my dad says...

On the way back we saw a young deer that apparently though it was a cow...


So maybe a little hot cider?

Bring us a couple pounds of that venison if ya will. We'll trade ya'll some ammo for it to help with the next trip. I make a mean pot of chili, and the weather is about right to make some.

Brass Monkey?

Here's a little trivia for ya.

A brass monkey is actually a brass triangle that was laid on the ground and used as a base to stack cannon balls into a pyramid shape. When the weather got really cold the brass would contract and cause the pyramid to collapse. Hence, it froze the ball soft the brass monkey.
Fuck this place. Second rate hack playing in a yard that's too big for him.

Dave, I kinda assumed that's what was going on when you mentioned Chinese food. I've known a few people that have had to seek out places that don't use MSG, just so they can eat it.

Hope you are staying safe with all of that ice I keep hearing that you guys are getting. Looks like I got back in FL just in time. I don't mind snow, but I don't mess with ice. That's when I just hole up in a truckstop and wait it out.
