Sunday night Sit Rep.. All quiet here in the den.. Your chaplain did morning service at 0500 hrs in front of the Jolly Roger,.. Did any of you lop's (Prison term, like flop cept with an L) show up ... NEGATIVE !!! Kevin and Sky did manage to fly in .. 20 min. late and hung over .. Least we had music, those two started jamming and the place came alive.. Had sister Elvira pass the collection plate.. She started to boogy down so hard the plate flew around like it was a made in China pep boy hub cap.. That reminds me, Blacky congratz on the KDR, were,all proud of you..,

Mrs Padre was at the middle girls baby shower so I had a chance to play for as long as I wanted.. Flew the flag in a number of games .. Had a couple that were so good I didn't want them to end, those big fur balls of five or six planes where the machine guns so are loud, and the fightings so intense you need a stress break at the end.. Did manage to get the yellow BARRRINNNGG and promoted up to a level 20.. Makes me a Lieutenant Sergeant Major something or other.. Got so excited I promptly crashed to show my appreciation..

As always prayers for Mindy, James, and Teresa.. On a related note.. I'm praying the good Lords ok with my 0500 service story,. What ever was lacking in reverence had respect to balance it.. One of these days when we're all on I think it would be great to actually land at the villa as we've done before and have a short prayer service.. A line or two of prayer and an amen from each of us would be pretty cool.. Just have to keep Blacky and Sky from having a concert..

Actually, u can (I know from experience), the rule is just that the same exact name can't be used twiced at the same time....though similar names with can be avoided without losing the meaning by using similar words , instead of wolfhitmen, we and 9000 thought about naming a squad Hell Hounds , same meaning, but both are still unique,

too bad sky(not the WP one) fell in his mission to make another wolf squad, I knew he was trying, I would have helped, sister squads are always nice

(Brother squads are squads who follow the same leader, sister squads are those who follow their own leaders, but still work together under harmony )

On the issue of two Wolf Packs,.. I've got all the respect in the world for Silencer, who clearly knows some stuff about the issue, that being said I can't see the benefit of.a second WP.. but I can see how our "brand" which we all have so much respect for could be adversely effected by a second pack.. No names here but we all know Sqds that play fast and lose with standards..

Padre, I do agree. What's the ole say--'imitation is the highest form of flattery'. The respect we've earned took time and it began with Digger, Viper and the loyal wolves they invited to join this squad.

We all follow the Wolf Pack rules and it caught the attention of one of the most notable squads in this forum--the GI's who invited us to be their allies.

It's not to say new squads should not form and attempt to be successful. My main point is, it's not easy and requires a lot of work.

Digger has worked very hard and Wolf Pack is something to be very proud of. Well done, Skipper!

I feel yall have the wrong idea, it's not really imitation(not on purpose), just merely a wish to create another wolf squad without much insight to it, he just needed help to tweak the name, the actions of a sister squad does not reflect on the other squads, when I say work in harmony, I meant knowing and accepting that yall are both wolves , but yalls goals are different , just that the two both work together to increase the number of wolves, there was a wolf pack before this was formed.....does that make yall the imitators ? Does the size or condition of the squad determine who is the real mckoy? A wall always has two sides, or else it would just be a void.

(Squads are formed and are destroyed each month, not all squads has a thread on forums , some you will never see a member chat besides Sq chat , only way you can know that they exist is because you see them in game or see them in the list of squads while searching a keyword)(some squads exist of just like 3 members who are friends in real life, there are tons of these, and they don't do much outside of flying, as they just play together for fun)

I too ve seen the new skywolf. I met him/her in a df and he has made good progress. He sounds young.My problem is his infantile behavior. I would hate to be associated or have him give us a bad name. Maybe it's just me. I changed my name to my current one knowing there was an inactive out there,and created a slight variation of the original. With that said,I'd like some feedback. I am open to a name change to something unique. I am a wizard/dragon/warlock/fantasy fanatic. Now,those are common themed names within the realm of DF. Knowing that name changes are frowned upon,I would leave it up to our leadership. If I'm given the go ahead,I will put it up for suggestions from the pack for a totally unique title. Could be fun. Any thoughts are welcomed. Everyone has a voice.
Otherwise, I think I've carried my name repectfully and with pride,and would continue to do so.

2nd edit, the wolf pack before yall didn't last long,they changed to another non wolf name, so don't sweat too much about it
