Almost as long as there has been life, war has been a part of it. Mankind continues to wage war even though the consequences often breed nothing but misery. However, when a person is called to defend his or her country, or protect other defenseless people, it is his duty to fight. There is no question that there is evil in the world and we must not rest on our laurels and say it is none of our business. We cannot stand by and watch while others are being persecuted. It is the duty of mankind to uphold justice.

A poem I usally dont post things like this and I hope it doesnt offend. As a former soldier these words say it all for me.

TO OUR VETS.

The night slowly creeping in
The American Flag waving high
The shots still ringing out
The stampede still pushing on
Moments captured
By the camera of time
The click of the shutter
Sits deep in the mind
An American, a soldier, a parent, a wife
Serving so proudly, laying down a life
Drawing the line between truth and lies
Trusting a leader foolish or wise?
No longer the power held by a few
Give the people what they are due
Peace, love, and harmony, does it exist?
Hard to see through the 9-11 mist
Random insanity or a plot so thick
Thought and time cut to the quick
A change on the horizon, Election Day near
Heads in the sand quacking with fear
The battle goes on a world away
Politics and pride still get in the way
Pull in the oars, bring home daughter and son
Eternity will pass until this war is won
The dollar is drowning in excess and greed
Yet the backyard is starving and bleeding with need
A solution to the puzzle of uncertainty and fear
So many lost already
Is the answer near?
Only time will reveal what the future will be
But time cost too much
To America and ME

Cubano was it your zep ??? And if it was why were you shooting it. That's the same as bombing your own hangers or carrier. Same thing.

Far as I can make out, you can shoot your own zep but it doesn't do any damage.

I can only speak for what I've done as so much seems to depend on the mood of the servers but I was in a protect the zep game the other day all by myself, I zoomed straight to the other end and waiting for any reds but no one came. The zep was three quarters of the way to their base and there was no one in the game but me so I thought, why not....... I took a few shots at its engine and it showed the warnings as if I had shot a team mate, so I decide to do it again and I got slapped with a five minute ban for team killing   :pinch:

Muck, It might depend on the update...I have shot at people bringing down the zep and gotten point's from the zep while it's inline with who I'm shooting at....I have also seen people on protect side, only shoot at the zep when Both engine's are down...one Individual does this all the time...

Richy, Next time try after the engine's are down....I believe the engine's will ban you and the Zep itself won't.... It also seem's the game is alittle different for everyone, Updates? maybe....

That would mean once the engines are down you would be helping the other team if you shot at them while they're next to the zep and you missed them but hit the zep!

Yep....I have never put this out there. I don't do it.... It's unfair...Now I've caught people on protect side simply giving up the game and focusing on the zep after the engine's are down...
I've seen so many people do it lately. You won't notice it unless you know about it....I've seen people on the protect side level out and simply fly straight and shoot the zep. The take down the zep side is too focused on taking down the zep to notice an enemy helping them...
And before anyone accuses me of getting points that way....NOT..and NOT again....NOT,, NOT. There I feel better.... ;)

I thank you Sir. One back at you.... So is this wait game hard for everyone? I think my health is starting to decline due to lack of nutrition.... Just can't seem to force myself into eating anything... I remember back in "84" I asked this young lady to be my girlfriend. Did it with a note " do yo wana be my girlfriend mark the box yes or no with an X or give me a call at home" She accidentally left the note on the table(I think), so when I got home I sat next to the phone waiting and waiting for the call that never came..... Well at least with this layout I can go from "fourm to e-mail to fourm to e-mail to fourm to e-mail to fourm to e-mail to till I lock up my system......." I tried to bake a CAKE CAKE CAKE!!! But there again made me think of M.O.M. So I got sidetracked again by looking at.... fourm to e-mail to fourm to e-mail to fourm to e-mail to fourm to e-mail to till I lock up my system... Never in my 39 years did I think that I would be a couple of days away from being 40 and want to be a M.O.M. So bad.... You guys had me at....... "HELLO"

Ok got to go check me E-Mail I might have missed something....

I find it to be an excellent counter to the sniper. While they are so busy trying to get a bead on you, you're rapidly closing the gap, and by the time that you merge, they're not in position to counter you.

I avoid the head ons at all cost if possible. As I begin my loop, I cut my throttle to avoid the overshoot, and then check to see where my target is when I am at the top of my loop. Whichever way they turn as we passed head on, they are most likely going to be heading in that same direction. I then apply some throttle as I finish the loop (descending) and roll behind them, just enouogh to allow me to stay behind them, but I wait until I'm close enough to not miss when I fire. I know many people live and die by the head on shot, and some are quite deadly at it, but of all the aces in the Top 100, only four have less deads than I do. MUCH HARDER to do when chuffing along a bomb!

Tex what am I doing wrong? When I tried to follow your instructions I ended up with an Ikea VALLVIK TV bench/coffee table . . . very hard to maneuver one of those!

Brian,

I'm not sure whats taking so long.... Oh wait Star Chamber. They have to find their bifocals, then find your application, go get a shot of geritol, remember why in the hell they're wearing their bifocals, go back to the fridge to get your application cuz they left it in there when they got their geritol, find last night's left over pudding, forget all about your application, go back to the star chamber to try to pass that cheeseburger from '83, still try to remember why the hell they're wearing their bifocals.... and so forth.

Oh yeah that's just one of them and there's 11 more to go. All in all, I think you may be making record time. BUT! if its karoke night at the home, it may take a little longer.

Hang in there boys! In the meantime, memorize rule 6, there will be a quiz!

Actually, including Jimmy the Lip, there's 17 of us! So ... yeah, what PH said and then some. Thanks for your patience, all pending applicants. If you die waiting, no worries, we'll catch you at the re-spawn point. However if you then die again while waiting, cheer up! That might count as a spawnkill and you might be able to get us banned.

How about applicants contribute more to the thread so we get to know you better. You may be the best pilot here, but would we party with you? Personality counts & don't forget the swimsuit competition!
Please take your "Ofical M.O.M Vision Test" while waiting.

I had the RICHYPOO scared out of me upon awakening this morning.
This was asleep on my chest. I don't have a cat.
Somehow, he snuck in the house. I guess I have been adopted.
He's smart & "talks" all the time. Help me give him a moniker?
