Wow you guys. It used to take me like 7 minutes after I got home from work to catch up on the daily posts to the thread. Now my thumb cramps up and I get a sore thumb. Though I don't post a lot, I do read everyday before I fly. It has become a ritual. Lol. Seriously though, I never have met any of you. But your now apart of my everyday life. Keep posting, it is always a good read. Wether it is heart felt thoughts or silly jiberish. The coolest part of our squad is the multi-national membership. Goes to show you that it does not matter as to where we call home, we humans are the same. The planet could learn a lot from forums like this . I used to just fly around and shoot dots. Yes, this has bothered me.

Most members of my family are avid hunters, fishermen, and outdoorsmen. Your portrayal of us is absolutely incorrect. Not even close... And I guess that started it.

Our constitution, and especially the bill of rights portion of it was bought with blood. Many in our country see a lot of give and take in those laws. I don't.

The aforementioned veterans are the guys who passed these beliefs on to me. These are the same guys who stood shoulder to shoulder with your countrymen in a time of great crisis. Our outcomes could have been very different if this didnt happen as it did. When you dismiss things that were held so sacred to these people, so easily, when they fought so hard to help you guys (and a lot of other people too) it felt as though you were disrespecting them.

I'm sorry this happened. I'm sorry that I went off half cocked and half brained at you. Just please understand that as you talk to many Americans about these subjects, they won't really care. It's all fluid/relative/give/take whatever to them. Others of us though feel VERY strongly about these things and will fight you at the drop of a hat for "dissing" them. I'm just sorry that it was apparently my turn.

1 - It was me who lowered your karma by 1 point - just 1, FYI. It was the first time I did it on this forum - by the way, first time I did it on ANY forum. And I believe I won't do it anymore. But I needed to support Muck's position, that's the reason I did that.

2 - I raised your karma back by 1 point right now, because I see that you said "sorry", and you was polite, sincere and non offensive in your last post. And for your information, I respect the fact that most North-Americans are proud of their army members (*) - although we, brazilian people, definetly don't like any war-related-matters at all.
