Join the crowd in being misread. My emphasis was on the differences in perception. I was just assuming that you probably didnt know anyone like me, and that by owning so many a guy like you might think I was a natural born killer or something if I didn't throw that line in...

Richy Poo, the only thing I found offensive was the spelling and usage of humour...and aluminium, the loo, water closet, colour, theatre, manoever, Allen key, aeroplane, and articulated lorry, etc., etc. etc. Just because ya'll invented the language doesn't mean you get to abuse it!

This is an international squad... We have more members from places other than the U.S. than some Squads have total players.. We know who we all are and from where.. Humor is different from time zone to time zone, let alone country to country..
A quick example is one of our great players from Deutchland.. His banner which Wig produced and is humorous, too most of us, did not make sense to him and he said the words were not correct Deutsch... They were not correct, but in humor not everything is supposed to be exactly correct as you know.. After explaining it to him several times in English and then German and then in broken English/German.. I think we used GermEnglish to finally explain his Banner.. He finally understood..

I figured thats what happened immediately since its happened to me many times..no worries at all..although I had my best pose, shined up the plane and everything surely there will be another photo-op, thanks anyways

After very little consideration, I’ve decided to complicate Wigs job in creating my clever banner (Noushbag is too easy a target) and also to create more work to those responsible for updating the roster, have decided to change my name to….drum roll….Floyd Straits…boring isn’t it? Named after two of my favorite bands, and as uninteresting as it sounds, I’ve noticed there isn’t one single objectionable name in the clean cut roster of MOM’s—much as I want to bastardtize it by being the first one, Captain Noushbag is just plain…well too Noushbaggy.

You have to fill out the ID10T form before you can offially change your name.

Was that the offial roster... I mean the rooster roster or just the roster, I'm sure there's other questionable names on there, huh SheiBe?

If anyone had a problem with your name before you joined then changing it woulda been a condition of the star chamber's offial decision. My vote... Keep the name, you noushbag. It fits you and brings no dishonor (at least not anymore than the group already shoulders) to the squad. You're Captain Noushbag... That's offial!

Ah, just been reading back a few pages, seems the knicker twisting is related, ultimately to guns.

I've ignored the thread for three straight days. I can see again. The vestigial tail that was growing out of my adam's apple has receded. No more mystery bruising on the backs of my knees. My command of English has returned to nearly 60% of what it was before founding this squad. I need to stay away more often, I might amount to something, like a NASA Aerospace Engineer. Or a cat.

Last evening a ghost appeared in Dogfight. No, not Grey Ghost although it's always a pleasure seeing him and Mrs. G. Our most missed M.I.A. M.O.M, Oedius, was playing. Steve has promised to write and explain his absence. Writing? Required. Explanation? Not. I'm sure I speak for the other 11 members of The Delusional Dozen original M.O.Ms in saying...WHEW. I'm deeply relieved to have seen [M.O.M] Oedius and to know our boy is okay. How okay, I'm sure I'll find out. But first things first. dogss is back, Oedius lives, we're no longer a V12 missing a couple of its cylinders.

As to new M.O.Ms, welcome, whomever the hell you are. I probably have something like twenty banners to dream up, right? Twenty one if you count Luna's and hers is the only one into which I'll put any actual thought.
