I made one turn, saw a sea of RED ACES and understood what he ment... I sat on the runway and watched for about 10 seconds... Game over...

OK MOMs, it's over. After having my posts taken down by Kane and receiving some very frank off line advice from Wig, I have finally got the message. I must end this nonsense for ever.

I unreservedly apologise for causing offence or annoyance to any member of this Squadron. I apologise for any crass or inadvertantly insulting remarks made by me. I apologise for abusing your hospitality and gate-crashing a discussion thread over which I had no moral or technical ownership. Most of all, I am particularly sorry to anyone who associated my comments with real personal loss or grievance. You will be pleased to know that I have decided to stay away from any forum for the foreseeable future. I am out of here until my good behaviour order expires (You can decide the duration) or there is a natural disaster / terrorist attack / ZZ Top revival / Financial Crisis / whatever, needing my attention.

This is probably a good time to move on anyway. My personal circumstances have changed considerably. After enjoying a rather sedentary few months in the beautiful city of Sydney, my fickle profession has presented me with yet another deployment order. I have my own veiws on the rights and wrongs of this campaign but I will unreservedly play my part to end it. I want to emphasise that Brits, Canadians, Kiwis and Aussies are in this fight too - and we're right there along side the USA for the long haul. If any sandal wearing non-shaver wants to claim American imperialism, send them to me. I will put them straight.

I love this job but I am going to be very busy for the next 12 months. I have begun physical and mental preparation, part of which is to put one's house in order at home. Coop will understand - I bet when you're heading for a big fire you worry more about unfinished human situations that how much it's going to hurt when you fry.

So, MOMs (it took one bottle of wine to get this far - now opening the next) - Please accept my heartfelt apologies. I never meant to offend anyone. If you could at least allow me just one concession - whatever our differences, I have not lied, deceived, bullied or humiliated. I am giving everything to you now. I respect you all and I will never over- step the line again. All I ask is that you acknowledge that I am a man of integrity.

So. All the emotion put of the way, I'm not going to kill myself or change my player name. Simmo will still be in the sky joking and terrorising, but he will not be backed up by Rob and his crazy agenda. Rob is in chains. Simmo has him under control.

This is just a game after all, and what you do in real life is far more important, and I'm glad that we have men like you defending what we hold most dear. Proud Parrot! Had a great game earlier with B Strachan and Attila ( first time playing him). I got my butt thoroughly kicked but had a blast all the same. I did get one good run, taking both of them out before they finished me and the game off. Taking out a couple aces like that was a real Dogfight high for me. Thanks for the game guys it was a lot of fun and I learned some tricks too!

'O great and powerful Wigzard of MOM, in the same game I mentioned above we were joined by "Thebuster". You seem to have made a big impression on him. He came into the game (with 3 MOMs present) and was not very complementary of you. Rest assured you were defended and he stopped is rant fairly quickly. I'll PM you a screenshot, which is not for public posting do to language.

Thanks Parrot and B...yeah, thebuster got busted by me, I don't doubt that the little swine is upset. After some impressively filthy language and team-killing I comped myself the pleasure of shooting his blue arse down a couple times...then a dozen times when he was red in the following mission...then muting-n-booting him. I look forward to future thebuster busting soon.

Interesting. I flew with both Killah and Seattle yesterday. I haven't seen either one in a long time, but killah had his MOM tag. Seattle has been a member for a long time, but he has never worn his tag. He told me that he flies very infrequently now, guess his real life got too busy for him to play as much anymore.

Which reminds me, I haven't seen farkinell in forever either, and I used to see him all the time. Does anyone know that story?

Seattle is on the Roster just above Big Tex.. As far as I know killahboy is a Prodigy MOM ..

He had the tag on tonight, Seattle that is, guess SheiBe better put him the roster before someone goes gunning for him, had an idea I'd seen mention some long way back.

I'm going blind then, I went down it 3 times, sorry, I'll go look again then put the funny conical hat on and go stand in the corner.
