Richy please keep posting. The more the merrier. And yes the glitches games and lag is a universal issue. Don't know what if anything is being done about it.

Can someone confirm that my last couple of posts have actually been intentionally deleted? If so, it seems a bit Orwellian for an organisation so supportive of freedom of speech.

Oh what a game was played tonight. Was in a dogfight match tonight with 3 other fine moms .Taking turns picking off the non- moms , and whose name shows up as entering the game "dreadnought". At first he would not take off. We all shot the hell out of him and he would not die. I landed right in front of him as so that are propellers were touching. Hit the brakes and sat there for a minute. Took off circled around and dropped my newly acquired bomb dead center. Blew him up. Than it was game on. Invitations are going out to the members of The Star Chamber a k a board of admissions a k a...ulp...err...council? Nonono...we don't need no stinking council.

We'll be "meeting" in a Google Group where we'll review applications from new recruits. The applications will be submitted on Page One of the thread. SheiBe and I will modify the page to include a direct email link and brief instructions on what to submit. Name, age, rank, the usual stuff. We'll let you know when it's ready.

As one of our 100+ "Recruitment Officers" it will be your responsibility to make sure any new prospect you recruit is told to go to Page One to apply. NOT to just drop a casual note on the thread. Those notes tend to get lost in the flood of fun and rubbish. We still welcome the notes, but the Page One email application must be submitted as well. Applications submitted via Page One will go directly to the Google Group where The Star Chamber interacts. We'll review applications, vet players, then submit them to the squad. By the time they're submitted we'll already have cast our votes. At that point it'll be your opportunity to say, "I object" or forever hold your peace. Or whatever you choose to hold.

A M.O.M who nominates a new recruit will be that recruit's "Sponsor" and as such you'll be expected to take him/her under your wing. No more reckless, casual invites. If you like what you see in a player well enough to think he/she is M.O.M material you'll have to be ready to get involved and stay involved.

There may be a period of a week or two during which a new recruit's playing skills are assessed.

These are ideas already offered by Star Chamber members...Tex, Bopes, Muck, SheiBe...and the group hasn't even met for the first time yet. So far so good.

For tech-challenged Star Chamber members; the Google Group discussions will always show up in your email inbox. No need to log onto a site or do anything more than read recent message strands then hit "reply" and do exactly as you normally would with any email.

I apologize for bailing before the game ended, but Ms Tex didn't think I was supporting her Packers enuff so she confiscated my phone.

Star chamber, secret dim lighted meetings, funny hats, mentoring mentors??? Yikes! It's getting pretty serious around here! All I say is don't forget to let it be fun. I joined purely to shoot the s()&t and possibly have a little more fun with the game by getting to know some of the players etc etc etc. I don't know if I would have stood before the council of doom in my underpants and begged for mercy on my soul.

Ok. My 2 cents. I'm still kind of new myself, but we've already established that I can't keep my mouth shut. Just make sure to keep it fun.
