That was a fun game! He showed up in the next one for me too. A btc game. Of course because he was on my side he felt it necessary to try and team kill me. Didn't end to well for him he left after the second time I blasted him.

On a side note Clay, the very first game I played after switching from a cage to a half shield I got two teeth sheared off at the gum line by an errant stick. I was actually more pissed that they made me go to the bench for repairs and miss the rest of my shift than I was about the broken teeth. It's hard to leave the ice when you're puttin a beating on a team! . I did go back to the cage because I can't afford all the dental work...

Just flown a game of dogfight with a guy called slider - my god he was killing everything (me included) until i managed to lead him to the bridge, man i flew over, under, along, through and even did a side slip roll from lefr, through the wires, inverted main section and rolled through the wires to come out on the right side! - he hit me but eventually i crShed into the ground (stupid place to put it if you ask me) but my point is 1) my evasive has got better and 2) damn that guys hard to go up against, had fun and he was.well mannered too .

It does sound all serious and non-M.O.M, Dave, I know. Fact is, it's not much different from the policies we've supposedly had in place right along. Just a matter of re-routing. Players have always been asked to introduce themselves, provide name, age, location, rank, a bit of personal bio...that's still all we're asking, only in email form rather than a post on the thread. So we haven't tightened the requirements much at all. As for the "assessment period" that would not have applied to you...you and I had played a fruckload of games together before I invited you to apply. Tex's suggestion about a two week evaluation would only apply to unfamiliar players. Ultimately the point of all this is to keep the thread focused on fun, not glut it with recruiting bafflement. And to better keep the roster peopled with fun...people.

I know you will do well with it Wig. I'm just throwing out that word of caution. Someone needed to.

Wow! I need to go to London more. Kinda miss the place sometimes, I lived in Peckham South London, then moved to Millhill/Barnet North London, much much nicer.

apoligise to any MOMs who have seen my playing or none playing in the last few days.
not to sure what is going on but my settings seem to change from one game to the next.
had a game earlier i had to do 1 handed handstands holding phone upside down inside out all the time doing kartwheels
with all this movement i cant see what iam doing in game
my misses has seen the frustration and has offer her assistance by holding my legs for me,we did actually try it thought it would be a laugh,iam now boosting a nice lump above my right temple

A M.O.M who nominates a new recruit will be that recruit's "Sponsor" and as such you'll be expected to take him/her under your wing. No more reckless, casual invites. If you like what you see in a player well enough to think he/she is M.O.M material you'll have to be ready to get involved and stay involved.

There may be a period of a week or two during which a new recruit's playing skills are assessed.

These are ideas already offered by Star Chamber members...Tex, Bopes, Muck, SheiBe...and the group hasn't even met for the first time yet. So far so good.

For tech-challenged Star Chamber members; the Google Group discussions will always show up in your email inbox. No need to log onto a site or do anything more than read recent message strands then hit "reply" and do exactly as you normally would with any email.

Hello fine fellows. Wanted to say had a great time flying/hunting with you all yesterday. Played till my eyes were crossed. Think I came up 200 slots on may rank or so. Left out early on my last game with 30 kills !!!! Played against N.L.R XxxxX we took turns dealing each other mutual death and destroying the noobs on our teams till we both baled before game end. Great game X ! This game is worse than crack !!!! Think I'm going to be a P.O.W most of the day today. Prisoner #1, Stalag 73717, Alva O.K. So says the Comandant aka my wife Starting my tunnel now for a couple of rounds. Some one distract the guards.........

Thought I would elaborate on my personal info since I was a little vague on my first post and I'm on the roster now as an Okie Randy Young born Borger, TEXAS, 2-21-74. Where I have lived most of my existence. Currently exiled to Alva, Oklahoma. I am a Chief Inspector for Chesapeake energy/ Access Midstream. Oil and gas brings me here. Payed to live in Oklahoma Not that Oklahoma is bad it just ain't Texas. Our fellow Texas M.O.M.s will surely back me on that. Gods country as I like to call it ! You may disagree but I don't. I've been here for about a year now and no sign of leaving soon. I am happily divorced and divorced again and married again. 3rd times the charm I have three kids 20, 18, &, 15. Two girls and a boy. Soon to be a grandpa. Ouch never thought I'd be saying that. Also 3 step kids same ages. My youngest lives here with my wife and I. Love her dearly but want to kill her most of the time. 15 year old girls Sheeezz.......

On a diff note I love the DF games with other M.O.M.s !!! Was a little hard to get used to at first not killing every one in sight or at least trying to. I wish we all had different color designations other than just red for every one. Gets me shot down a lot when I stray off target. Take your eye off the ball and you die but you all already know that. Also I may have killed a couple team killers of the blue persuasion and a spawn killer tank of that color. Should I stop ? Played 2 games last night with a Nacho something. Kept asking if any one had a hot sister. To which I replied "nacho sister" Pissed him off and he talked mad s**t to me. So just letting you guys know blue or red I see him in game he's singing the Blues. Nacho your mine son ! My sister players the game better and I don't even have one. This is Nacho game no mo....and my mom isn't interested I asked for you One of the 111th guys in game said he would report him. How's that work ?
