Save and your banner should then appear in all your posts.

Welcome to M.O.M, old bean! (For those who don't recognize the name, James McCudden was one of the top ten aces of the Great War, third in kills for Britain, an exemplary pilot and person, recipient of the Victoria Cross. His autobiography, Flying Fury, is must-read material for any student of WW1 aviation.)

Apologies for butting in but I have read the book. Remarkably, he came up through the ranks having joined the Royal Engineers as a bugler in 1910 - not your average upper class Edwardian British officer. His grave is in Calais, his medals are in the Royal Engineers museum in Kent and his shattered SE5A windshield is in the Imperial War Museum, London. Ironically, the only memorial to him in his home town of Gillingham is a bronze plaque on the side of a public latrine in the high street. I think he would be very amused by that.
Tally Ho!

Who do you call if you are in an emergency?
Fire station of course :woohoo:
Yesterday we had some problems at work. A cab derailed inside one of the ovens.
It takes a long time to cool down the oven and then heat it up again
So to save time (time is money as we all know) the fire department gave us some help (hope they got paid well)
They could go into the oven when it was still 200 degrees C (392 F) and lift the cab in place.
Absolutely incredible they could hold a pan with a pizza and watch while baked in their hands.

Many thanks to these brave men and women around the world who on a daily basis put themselves in danger to save those in need.
it feels good to know that wherever on the globe one finds oneself there will always be these courageous souls willing to sacrifice themselves for us mere mortals
Don´t live life faster then your guardian angel can fly

If your plan is to carry on indefinitely as Prompter, Mr. Pinkerton, then I'll be more than happy to cook up a new banner for you. You can always switch back to G-the-P any time.

Thanks wig (the real one that is!)

DN resigning to MOM, but not without first thanking all the friends for the opportunity, I will not mention names because I would not want to forget anyone. Anyway, I love this game, and certainly we will in the air. Farewell friends.

Estuardo.

D_N I forbid it! But if you must insist, then I decree that you have not resigned but taken a sabbatical. Bless you my son.

Unknown wing commander: why are so many people named Wig?

UrNotWig!: he's a great WWI pilot.

Unknown wing commander: oh

Laughed my butt off.

I will now be flying as Baron Von Wig!
