Since I can't get in, might as well watch my Steelers full time and jump on the pc during halftime to reflect on some MOMage being passed down....

First of all, to bopes, and Muck and Dent and to all the others who've posted that they aren't any good, espcially in DF mode (my personal favorite btw): you guys are sooooo full of it! The reason why I LIKE DF mode so much is that I spend a lot of time picking splinters from my busted up plane out of my a$$ time and time again thanks to you guys in every other mode! To say that you're pilot skills are poor is laughable at the least. Stop it already.

I also don't shoot MOMs in DF mode, and hesitate to do so in the other modes. If I find myself in a DF mode with other MOMs, it's usually quickly becomes a race to 15. I seem to be flying a lot of those with Zandor lately, and it's a thrill to see who can get there first (assuming no other aces are in the game). I have found that if I am much higher ranking than the other players, like Dent, I'll shadow the action and see who's got talent or heart and see if they're future MOM material. Some ask for advice and tips, which ALWAYS goes to my head, and I also like it when one of the top twenty play so I can practice chasing them and try to improve on my ability to shake them when they're on my six. To me, furballs are where it's at - you can keep the bvr stuff. Wish the game better modeled what the bullet trajectories were beyond 200 feet for the Spandau, Vickers and Lewis, but that's just me.

So if I am in, do I need to do anything on my end to gain the m.o.m. Banner. Also note that if I am not on the same team as fellow squadies, I choose not to engage my fellow squadies but don't care if you engage me. I have played hockey for the last 32 years and have a strong alligance to my teammates. Will always have your back :)

Claygod, you're in. And most welcomely in at that. Muck and I are pleased to have thrown you to this bunch of toothless, swaybacked old lions. (Muck, it was us who co-submitted CG, wasn't it? The meds...oy, the meds.)

Clay, go to the top of the forum page, click "tools" and follow the breadcrumbs to the M.O.M tag. We'll (we being me...sorry in advance) get your personal banner cooked up and ready asap.

Dibley, definitely in. Beyond that I need reminding on who's new. The meds...

Tex, love the thoughts on DF mode. I'm in desperate need of some sage advice and training from our flock of super aces, myself. There's a throttle?!?! Next thing you'll be telling me the planes have GUNS. o,O Anyway, any time spared for me around Mount Duck will be gratefully appreciated and garner you (whomever you are, including Popsical) an additional 50% over and above what you're earning in M.O.M now.

I should've confirmed this with my doc but...mescaline does qualify as a "med", does it not?

By the way, Clay; if you're a Red Wings fan you get the bestest banner EVER! (The Habs would be a respectable second choice) Finally someone I can communicate with about a real sport in the midst of all this football/futbol/soccer yattering. ;)

When I first started playing Dogfight I resented guys in the same squadron (111th and enigma, mostly, at the time) not firing on each other in a game when they were on opposing teams. Because during the game, my blue team is my squad. Until they come up with squad wars, I'm afraid I'm gonna take shots at reds (unless it's Wig), no matter what squad they're on. I owe it to my blue team, and I hope my MOM siblings understand.

That being said, I like ganging up in the Free For All/ Dogfight! scenario because I don't like the chaos. I understand the usefulness of having a place to practice marksmanship, but there are just too many red targets for a geezer like me to keep up with, so it's kinda frustrating. I won't shoot at MOMs in FFA unless fired upon. No blue allies there, so why not have a MOM ally?

Trigger, I'm sorry for putting so much virtual lead in your virtual keister tonight. Your team won the game. We got two of your hangars, finally, but we were overwhelmed. Plus I had a guy on my team who JUST WOULDN'T SHUT UP. He had a man crush on me or something and kept calling me Sgt K or Roach.

Yep we did indeed co-submit clay to this living fun infested chamber of on setting dementia and mescaline is a very special med's often prescribed by special street corner doctors

Thanks Big Tex, Dent, et al., but believe me I ain't fishing for compliments. EVERYBODY's better than me, and I mean that sincerely. And Tex you are the KING of DF. And you kick ass in the other modes too.

BTW Anyone ever try to recruit The Only Soos and/or lagrenouille? Both solid players. Soos just rocked the house in a very looooong BTC game. Dannydrooler dropped in that briefly. No idea of either one's affiliational inclinations, if any, or any other details either for that matter.

Jeezis, Diablo, you're gonna need to be a little more specific than "Duck"! Unless thirty three players simultaneously invited you to join.

Speaking of spurious Ducks, I was thrilled and relieved to see Duckwing2 in-game briefly tonight. B, like I said in the game, I've been worried about the boy. I completely understand your needing to take a few days off. Do me a favor? PM me and let me know more about how you're doing. Meanwhile it was great to have you back blowing my face off!

Jimbo, I bleed little red and white winged wheels but the Hawks rock. These non-hockey characters will never understand; of course that thing in the urinal is a puck! And you should see the size of our sticks...

Cal, it was most likely one of the many tribute Ducks still flying.

While I have your attention, can you enlighten me/us as to the protocol for accessing the forum after having forgotten your password? There are several players trying to get in and set-up their squadron tags, banners, etc, but can't. From what I've heard the uninstall/reinstall trick is like lighting a stick of dynamite then asking it not to go off.

TY bopes! I find DF the most inexpensive therapy you can buy....

I watched SAMURAI for the very first time today. First in a btc game bopes was unfortunate enough to come into towards the end of the game. SAMURAI was putting on a clinic that even Vamp would takes notes in. I had the miserable unfortune to get into a btb game late and he was already stopping my team from taking off, me included. The guy's a psychopath - no emotions, just pure skill. We went to another btb game afterwards, and he was joined by Jane Doe. I've had hernia exams more pleasant than that experience. We were all frustrated at the servers being full, so our team received much of their anger vented on us. Sheesh, was like a true newbie all over again.

Can we get either of them in?
