Hey clay, if some pages back there's instructions on how to do it, that's if wig has your banner ready, he usually posts what banners are ready with instructions.

I guess you could try the old, time a distance using a given speed. Who knows if the speed we use is KNOTS, MPH , KPH ?? Is the speed either air speed, ground speed?? Too technical I guess.. 120mph= 2 miles per minute.. If it takes 2 minutes to get from point A to point B it would be 4 miles, right? But this only works if, all things in the universe are equal..?!

I just looked and it appears that Wigg has not completed your Banner yet. At least I did not see it. Rick will advise when he has artistically completed the banner and usually says how to retrieve it. Tune in later for updates..

Hey everyone,

I was curious (like oedius) . We are rapidly approaching 80 members. Are we going to put a cap on this Squad? How many members are enough and do any of you think there is a " Jumping the Shark" point of having too many members ? Only because this is a unique squad of older players.. Our mantra of Rule by no Rules may get lost. We will have members that we forgot were even members anymore .( remember our brain cells) we already have a few members that we never see or hear from. They may have lost interest in the game or our squadron.? Are we trying to over prepare for Squad Wars, of which may never happen?

I was always for quality and not quantity and we have that with everyone on our Squad. ( well I got in by default , RHIP).

What are your opinions? Everybody has one, they are like..... You know!! Again, just curious .

Wait bama, it took you over 25 minutes to fly from base to base? Did you fly a Great Circle Route ? Did you serve meals and have an in-flight movie?

Or is that, 5.387931 miles?

It might be but don't trust my answer I probably have a C in math. It took me 2 min. and something seconds so I divided that by my speed. I think that's how your suppose to do it

Let's work it out in kilo parsec's per year, then we can ascertain the cubic volume of Momland divided by dents dress capacity, thereby determining how many planes we can get in the air for squad wars...,simples! yes.

Hey Zandor, we have a neighbour! Wait, Allen High School football ?. I'm a Trinity fan myself, I think Zan maybe a Keller fan? IDK.. Zan, what do you think? ;)

KELLER!?!?!

Make that Keller Central! Keller is our rival school. Regardless, both Trinity and Allen would take us down easy in football.

Maybe a solution to our ever growing squad is to start splitting it off by state (or foreign country). We can be the Texas branch of the MOM squad. I think with the number of Texans already in the squad we'd be the fourth largest as it stands now. :)

As far as Philip, I try not to vote but he is a good so in! Of course, I am still the only member to vote against Alan! :cheer:

Great! A leather mini skirt, we should be able to get the maximom number of planes in the air, just have to be carefully we don't rip the fabric of whatsits name and disappear into a swirling black hole and re-emerge under the bridge with sputs soggy skittles.

Plus if Calle was really just ok...she is a girl (or so you are telling me) so that makes her freaking hot awesome! Of course, I'm still hurting from falling for BunnyBunny and then finding out he was a dude. Glad that hasn't happened to me in real life more than 4 times.

As usual, I rest my double vision for half a day and five full pages of this flotsam have to be sifted for the traces of pertinent jetsam.

Philip Flynn is "IN". Phil, drop by and say hi.

Dibley...AT LAST. IN.

LosDiablos: looks like another "In" to me, s'fine.

Clay(god), I'm working up your banner with my other brain as I type.

klgeibe...geez, man, I struggle to get your name right! Can't you come up with something like, I dunno...NUTBUCKET? That I could banner the hell outta!

Striker16...have we met in-game? Hey Striker's M.O.M guarantor, chime in and remind me about the lad.

Ah, this brings up a point: we need solid, like as in SOLID, confirmation of age for any new recruit or candidate. I still don't know whether FudgePopSical is a grown-up or Prodigy M.O.M. If I have to go back and make a third flippin' banner I will not be a cheerful wig. From this post hence I'll make no damn banner without knowing your damn age, dammit.

Whomever else I've omitted, somebody (Chet?) please please please (let me get what I want) post an updated list of new and prospective M.O.M's. I'd rather gouge out an eye than scroll back through the last ten pages again. (though the eye gouge thing might correct the double vision...or get me some bookings on the local big-time wrestling circuit. Think I'll call myself "Stone Cold Nutbucket")

I've been giving some thought to the question of a squadron capacity cap. We're roughly the same size as the 111th, not as member-heavy as enigma, and I've arrived at the point where I no longer care. If we're voting on either setting a limit or going recruitment-ape I vote for the latter. As many qualified players (character, skill, "MOM vibe", etc) as want to join M.O.M will get my approval. "Qualified" being the operative word. Only the best or most promising make the M.O.M grade. Ultimately it's up to you lot as a lot to determine whether we have a lot of members (a lot like we already have only a lot more so) or not. I like the a lot idea. It makes me feel all happy like I just swallowed a live kitten.

In that spirit:

I've wooed DESERT ROSE, Dragon10000, Hell Cat 2, Graf Von WESTPARK and Pffftt. Dragon, Cat, Graf and mouth noise are into the idea and agreed to swing by and visit the thread, I can't remember what ROSE's response was. Feedback on all these, please. My grail recruits, Samweb and Rickenfaker, remain on the fence. Sam is Job 1 (I was born in Ford country, leave us not forget) and says he's just waiting till Squad Wars to make a decision. I want him to make that decision now because I'd admire to have him contributing to the discourse here. My overall admiration for Sam is well documented, it's wasting perfectly good Sam-interaction time to wait. But wait we must until Sam makes the call. Be really really really really nice to Sam when you see him. He's that nice a guy that you ought to be being really nice to him anyway.

I HAVE BEEN TO THE MOUNTAINTOP. I HAVE SEEN WHAT LIES ON THE OTHER SIDE. THERE IS A SQUADRON OF ONE THOUSAND WAITING FOR US THERE IF WE PERSEVERE. THAT SQUAD IS CALLED...M.O.M. ALL ONE THOUSAND OF THOSE GLORIOUS, BEJEWELED AND VALIANT MOM'S ARE IN THE TOP ONE HUNDRED. WE MUST PERSEVERE. WE SHALL PERSEVERE. WE SHALL LOOK UP PERSEVERE IN THE DICTIONARY AND POSSIBLY EDIT THIS POST. GREAT GAWD A'MIGHTY WE SHALL REACH THAT PROMISED SQUADRON IF IT MEANS EDITING THIS POST ONE THOUSAND TIMES. THERE IS MESCALINE FOR ALL ONE THOUSAND MOM'S IF WE MAKE THE CLIMB. CLIMB WITH ME, MY MOM'S. LET US CLIMB.

What?

Gonna have to buy now as my curiosity has been piqued. Right after I finish this Seals book on the mission to kill OBL.
