Anybody knows who Desert Rose is? (He or She, I will assume a "She").
I played a couple games with/against her, and she is an ace! And have no squad!?!?!?!
I asked her if she was some moderator under cover, but all she said was "I am just a cute girl"... (of course, it was an idiot question, because if she was a mod, she would never tell it in game - duhhh)
Thought perhaps she was doing as I do sometimes on forums (throwing baits to catch some bada$$-children-chasers and send them to jail)...
But I am still curious about why she is not a squad member yet...

During DF missions, I will never shoot MOMs. But in other missions, I always aim at enigma and 111 falcons first, and MOMs after them - but when I see Mean Ole Devil and Wigbomb in red, I need to confess that my finger got itches to pull the trigger... hahahahahahahahahaha

You needn't gang up together - though it is some of the funnerest fun to be found in the game - but even if not hunting as a team (our mini-version of the Unicorn called Squad Wars) you don't shoot down a fellow M.O.M. This has reached the point where it's understood without my having to declare "MOMTEAM!" as I'd been doing. We are not seeking to create an unfair advantage. If you don't "get" why we in M.O.M defy the "every man for himself" concept and treat each other like family (I'd shoot my Dad's face off in a heartbeat...bad example) then there's a Dick & Jane primer to explain it all. I didn't understand what means "Dick and Jane", but if I am not wrong, it seems that you were angry with me because what I said about shooting you; am I right?
If so, don't get me wrong, Wig! Please, forgive me! I just said that because I didn't found another way to say "I like Wig and Devil"! (oh, and because I enjoy bringing you d... ops!)

There was a silent moment when we might have squared off for a head to head confrontation. But no shots were fired. Nothing was typed. I won't name the M.O.M but he provided me with the single best moment I've had since starting this squad. He knows who he is.

I'm agnostic on that issue, but it also confuses me. What if it's all or mostly MOMs in a DF match? What do we do then, land on Duckwing Mountain and draw straws to see who gets shot at first?

And also, I SUCK at DF! Chasing bores me if there's nothing else at stake, like defending a base, trying to cover teammates or harrying the opposing base. In DF, where's my motivation? Plus, all that endless swirling around makes me twitchy, so pretty much every shot I fire is a reflex shot, most of which miss anyway. But sometimes the odd MOM will wander into one. Then I feel conflicted. And using it as a proxy for squad wars confuses me too because of the multiplicity of re-spawn points.

So while I will defer to Rule 11, life would be simpler (for me!) if we all just tried to shoot the hell out of each other.

As far as shooting non-MOMs first in bombing games, its suicide in my opinion (and unfair to your teammates) to ignore (or attack last) the strongest opposing players, and MOMs generally fall into that category.

Use dogfight to better your head on and chase....try chasing and not shooting... also get in the thick of things and just try to "not get shot down"and don't shoot back. 450 rounds left at end of game is the goal and few as possible death's. I've done it....It's darn boring.... And quite honestly you don't suck....

Okay. You know my feelings about this. In Dogfight missions I do not shoot fellow M.O.M's. If I get shot down by a M.O.M I'll follow Dent's example - for the opposite reason - and quit. With 40k other players to feed on, many of them crazy-ass superior to me in skill, I don't need to shoot or be shot by members of my own "clan".

Outside of FFA missions I'll shoot anything red, M.O.M or non-M.O.M, in fairness to my team. No confusion there. FFA missions have no teams or goals, that's why they suck. I dunno, maybe race fellow M.O.M's to get 15 kills first? As goals go it still sucks. I'm with you, B, mindless, directionless carnage is boring. Besides, the lag is usually exponentially worse with eight reds swirling around at once. That just serves to piss me off. But when Squad Wars happens, about the time Britney Spears learns to sing Die Walkure while riding a Unicorn, everything'll be swell!

I hear ya. My comment on that was more a response to Pedrinho's order-of-kill rule of thumb in non-DF games, not to harsh the mellow on your misty-eyed moment. Also since you both ended up bombing after that, it was a wash strategically.

How's this: Dent (and all other Dent-minded MOMs), I personally will not take it personally if I am purposely shot at by you on purpose or in person in a DF match. Wig (and any other Wigpostles on this issue), I personally will not purposely shoot at you on purpose or in person in a DF match. If ever DENT-ites and WIG-ites are equally represented in a DF match, then we shall have a cookout on Mount Duckwing, [edit] where we shall roast the nearest non-MOM on a spit. Thereafter, we shall have a winner-take-all yodeling match.

Aside from that, all bets are off! In a non-DF match, you all BETTA be shootin' at me cause I'll be shootin' at you.

Dent, you are one of the best and nicest of the game. I understand what you mean, but there may be players who take offence to those tactics. I for one in the past have been chased by someone who was supperior in play and the thing was, he knew it and used it to belittle my skills. I know you would not chat as this guy did. But I left the game because it was not fun being chased around and summoned to die at his will. I will never be like the players of the Top 100 and I have learned to humbly die at the hands of better players. With my skilz its either that or play Pong.. My tactic with you now is, if I can get you laughing , I can maybe hit you once in a while. That's my other ammunition I carry. Again I respect you and enjoy being in a game with you. Chase me at will, but please, shoot me...Not too quick though.. I want to at least feel like I had a chance. Maybe that's how a Noob would feel too.

Thank you Sheibe.... Everyone understand. If I chase it's not to belittle. That is never my intention... Example...I think it may have been bopes.... I chased this person with out shooting because his throttle control was uncanny. Unlike anyone I have seen... I kept shooting past him. I finally was half A33ed able to match his speed... he was darned good. I was shot down a few times as I passed...Because of this I started different throttle control. I still can not master his throttle control.... His timing is impecable.... Everyone must remember I am not that good..... I use all of your tactics together... You may not realise it but you all do different thing's and react differently to situation's. I try to learn from all of you and I die trying and learning...
Pleas don't take anything I do as belittleing....and above all else do not look at me as superior.....I am nothing....I just tilt my phone this way and that.....

Idea for dogfight....I have done this also... If there are aspirants or lower ranks in the game pick one and protect him. let people know who you are protecting. If other people do the same it can be quite fun..

I really don't care for the dogfight mission's. I have had a few game's where people have changed it up and have done something different...

If I show up in a dogfight mission and there's another MOM there and you want to go practice at Duckwing mountain.... Say so and let's go... I need the practice as much as anyone else...we can shoot or not shoot...up to you....
