I'm SO SURE that was an accident and the ONLY time Strach has EVER inadvertently sat in PRECISELY the right spot at the back of a runway then reached over to feed a hungry baby from Indonesia and let his finger slip and hit the fire button. He was filled with remorse for weeks after, whaddya bet?

The point is, for a group that talks a good game about respect and maturity and sportsmanship, and that takes pride in having a no-rules rule book, what are the standards of conduct? Show of hands: who here hasn't spawn killed, "tanked", "invisible soldiered" on a carrier? I'm hoping a lot of hands went up but mine didn't.

The "Board of Admissions" is largely a joke, we all know it. Everyone votes, everyone has a voice. If Doghouse has a lengthy history of negative experiences with Joe, Joe needs to clear it up, or Joe is respectfully declined membership. Yes? Ya listenin', Joe? Drop in and say hi. And Doghouse, even Boang saw the error of his ways and made nice with me after weeks of team killing and foul-mouthed abuse. If that can happen anyone can see the light. Thanks all for the discusion. Joe nothing personal...not trying to make you look bad, also not trying to make us look bad. Just trying to make the squad aware of some in game habits i have noticed (tanking does not "jive" with me, and ask tex what he thinks of it too). Also to be clear...the only time i shoot planes that are not in flight is on a bomb run. Squabbling aside...I'm not grudging on you. If the wards want you in (mental and geriatric), then i'm for it, and welcome aboard! It needed to be discussed is all.

Also!!!! Allan just played with him...one of my favorite people to fly with. Duct tape, potato sack and a van if we have to!

As for popes like I already noticed the history is even worse. We've got Murder in the Cathedral (The title is a spoiler alert: Thomas Becket, the guy in the pope hat, gets murdered ... by the king's men ... in the cathedral). Then we've got the French revolution. Now you might think at first glance that's got more promise, right? I mean, mobs chopping off royal heads after being told to eat cake (CAKE!) and everything. . . But when you look at the history there you see the pope's people getting their asses kicked out of France, and then the pope having to beg Napoleon to let them back in. Do we even have someone to play Napoleon in MOM?

So, yeah. Anyone crazy (and sleepless) enough to spend the amounts of time you clearly have Wig playing DF lately deserves whatever spot in the rankings they fetch up at (even if it's staring down the barrel of Big Tex's what have you).

I know. Just couldn't resist adding to the momentum. I think I'm just getting edgy because I have not been able to get on Dogfight much this weekend. I was initiated into the wonderful & mysterious world of HVAC. I had to replace condenser fan on my heat pump. Next is a defective defrost control board.

SheiBe, I will confess to having been "financially embarrassed" or as some folks might crudely refer to as "cheap". I had been getting by with a long screw driver to give the fan a push to get it going. When it finally completely died, I bit the bullet and just changed it out myself which was $189 versus $600 to $800 having it done. And yes, the unit is going on 14 yrs old so I really didn't want to sink too much more into it. I found a new defrost board in Ebay for $69 which was going to cost me over $300 to have it done. I think I would like to go "ductless" eventually. Oh, I do have a fireplace.
