Since I've got the Wurlitzer fired up, I think I'll play a song about Dr Dave, for Dr Dave, by my friend Max... Dave is lets say a bit under the weather.... Havin' a hell of a time of it. Maybe this will cheer him up.

Evenin' everybody.
(Noooorrrm!) Brought some pics to pass around the bar. Hiking and biking around a lake in Ojai Valley, CA (anyone remember Bionic Woman from the 70's?). 
Just parked the Winnebago at our concrete campground in Huntington Beach, CA. Not much nature anymore, but "ahhhh the view." 
Huntington Beach sunset. Not sure why we drove all over Cali to see this. But we rarely go to the beaches near home. Anyway, it was special. Just a little bit concrete, but that all disappeared to background once it got dark! (That's Huntington Beach Pier off in the distance.) 
Nice trip, glad to be back. Manfred

One of these days I'm going I have to take the grand tour of California. It looks great to me. But... Not with a truck. Until CARB gets their head out of their ass, my truck will not enter the state. It's a shame... I've always wanted to see the place.

I use to take my metal detected around the Huntington Beach pier once or twice a week. Never found anything really worth talking about. One day a lady came up to me crying and said she cant find her wedding ring. She took me to her towel where within a minute i found her ring, she was happy to say the least. I don't really miss calif but I do miss Huntington Beach.
I DONT MISS SCENES LIKE THIS THOUGH

Doing pretty good. Hanging around Florida this week... Hoping to get a real weekend off for the first time in quite a while. I'm in Deerfield Beach now, then running on into Miami tonight then back home to Orlando tomorrow. Hopefully I can find a little bit more to do and finish out the week.

I'm good, I just picked up my son at the airport I hadn't seen since he was about 2, hes 32 now, so it's time to get to know each other.
Florida huh. Come on to Tennessee sometime and park that truck for a few hours, if you want to spend a night we will pick you up at any truck stop. My wife had fun meeting PARROTHEAD. Take care dude.

Jackolope, Manny, I haven't stopped by for a while. Spent a week down in Miami and came back to a much busier life. While I'm here, a good ol' Shiner Bock will do just peachy.

Been busy re-catching up after taking two one-week vacations over the past month. Still way behind. Might have some more time in a few weeks. In the meantime... Oreo milkshakes yaaaaaa! Breakfast of Champions. Here's a touch of California with that - I'll toss in a little wheat germ. Oh that's so 2004. Non-gluten wheat germ, there we go. Now that's breakfast. Manfred

No need to sorry, it's just an old asylum building going down - Scooby24, Yellow Belly, Quack, JasonMC, Conrado (a.k.a. Captain Haddock) and Ronnie Biggs are still around, and will be around even if they decide not to re-raise the squad.
And we will still be friends, and we will still have fun together sometimes, even not being able to join the same games with the desired frequency (since none of us play as much as some freaking addicted bullies like Davy Crockett). Thanks for your support, as always, Dave. Another "stingless beer", Manfred, please...

Please close the bar's doors this night, and only allow Looney Bin members to enter, please. The drinks and food will be at my expenses. Just hide all the valuable stuff, cuz I will only pay for the drinks and food they will swallow... and regurgitate. As I promised, I wont be on any squad anymore, I won't even post on any squad's thread anymore - but I am very happy they decided to re-raise the squad! Long life to The Looney Bin! I will always stay with them in the skies! And to all Looneys: I will look for good players to possible appliance to the squad. Cheers, my friends!
