I've tried to put it down a few times... It never works. I will say that I am happiest, and do the best job of staying out of trouble when I stay on this thread. When I go roaming around, I seem to get in trouble.

I took several months off. I've been playing a little bit lately, as the game is once again functioning somewhat correctly. I've been pretty rusty though, but I never was the greatest player. Possibly one of the meanest and most stubborn, but not at all talented. Big hands, little phone, bad connection half of the time... Not the recipe for a real good gamer.

Hey guys. Be sure to stock up for the party tonight!! I just made my 1,ooo,oooth point today!!!!! We are going to have all the misfits here to celebrate the milestone marker. I'll be at work till 10-10:30ish. Then ITS PARTY TIME!!! I have got the attic ready for the party, the ps3 and xbox 1 are looked up, the pc is fully loaded and the skinny chairs have been replaced with thick red oak lounge chairs (as jacklpe has requested )

Anyone have any thoughts on this Cliven Bundy fellow and the situation he finds himself in? I'm cautiously inclined to support him, and even more so now that the intentions of Rory Reid have come to the surface. I'm curious what the rest of ya'll think. Dentinhead, you can even post a smart aleck off topic comment if things get too heated. That's ok, and usually pretty humorous.

Ahhh, ol' Clive. All of this illustrates only a few things to me:
- What da heck are these various government doing with armed police-types on their payroll? If a government agency needs armed help to do something like arrest a guy for tax evasion, call the damned police or FBI, depending on jurisdiction. Why are taxpayers funding armed cop divisions for each bloody obscure paper-pushing agency?
- Thank goodness for youtube and cell phone cameras. I haven't seen much regular press coverage of the police action and protest. Somehow it's only on the internet. That tells me that the regular news outlets are being fed a story to print, "in the name of national security." Gimme a break. And let the news broadcast the news, don't feed them what you want them to report.
- Something is up when a gov agency decides to use this kind of force on an average non-violent citizen. There is a bug in someone's bureaucratic butt that elicits this severely unproportional action.
- And if the government told me that I owed a million bucks in back taxes for land and cattle that's been in my family for generations... I also would tell them to f-off. You don't just pull that kind of number, supposedly owed over a lot of time (much of which wasn't even yours), and put it all on one guy. No one came knocking 100 years ago, 50 years ago, 20 years ago. It's not my problem, so get lost!

Those are my thoughts on that topic.

Glad you're back Manfred. It's been a little quiet around here lately. I'm pretty much 100% in agreement with you on the Bundy thing. Many of those BLM "cops" smelled a lot more like Blackwater, or someone like that. That's a lot of force going against a rancher who is just doing what his family has been doing for 100+ years. I get the fact that he hasn't paid his "fees", but the circumstances around those fees are a bit shady too. I have been cautiously leaning towards supporting him, but now that Reid's involvement is more apparent, it all makes sense. Especially since the new BLM chief is a former Reid staffer.
