Not so fast! Game 5 is in St. Louis tomorrow night.

Unless you mean that you are driving up to Boston tonight.

Nope. The only way I go to Boston is for $$$$$$$$$$$$. It's no place to be in a big truck.

But, I guess you are right. I didn't realize that they were in STL another night. Hard to keep up sometimes.
Anyway, I hope my side has a better night tomorrow night. I get the feeling that all of the folks that claimed that they were evenly matched were exactly right. I prefer blowouts, not nail biters, so this series has been a bit hard on the nerves. But, whoever wins in the end will have earned every bit of it.

St. Louis police were called to the scene of a car that had been broken into this morning.
The owner said that he had 2 tickets to tomorrow night's game on the dashboard and someone smashed his window and left 2 more.....

Sorry Sauce, as I mentioned to you....there is an "alterior motive" for them showing the "Jacksonville Jaguars"...there is rumor that this will be the team that in about 5 years that will move to London since the owner is a big businessman in England..named I think Khan...

The great thing is...that the worst team in the league....gets to pick the best player in the draft for new players....also the following year they will get the easiest schedule too......we will see if Jacksonville will improve...it will take some time...

I agree....seeing a good team vs a real bad team is not a way to "endear" a new market to a wonderful sport like American Football..

Sorry Sauce..

Is that the rumor, that they are shipping Jax overseas? There are some did hard fans here, so that's gonna be painful. Plus, their stadium is in an area of downtown that WILL be through if they leave. Granted, I have worked out of the ports just blocks away, and I have no love lost for those folks.

Anyway, interesting topic... Now I have to go read.

Btw: that's the main reason I like the Packers... Fan owned=eternal presence in Green Bay.

Its a total rumor.....but with the owner being a major American guy who obtains all of his wealth from the UK and is a billionaire....the RUMOR is that they might leave for London in a few years if Jacksonville does not update the stadium...the rumor is also promoted by all of the many regular season games in London and the number of years the Jacksonville Jaguars will be playing games in London as well...

I'm not saying it is going to happen by any means....but if a team were going to move to London the best bet would be Jacksonville...Also I dont see a Londoner to pony up around US$1 billion to have a team in London.

It would be hard for Jacksonville....

we will see....we are talking about at least 5 and probably more like at least 10 years for this to even be a potential possibility.

Atleast at the end of the day, no one here is a Yankees fan... Hopefully... Or manfred might have to inaugurate the baseball bat behind the counter and knock some sense into them... How ironic :woohoo:

I drew the short straw and am at swim team practice. Following the game through a sorta live bleacherreport.com. Looking like another nail biter.

3 to 1, Sox. I'm trying to find a live radio station feed, but no luck so far. Monitoring by internet updates really blows!

Lousy game for my side tonight. Oh well. Manfred, I have a mlb @ bat app that I pay a few bucks for each month where I can stream it live, and then I can also listen to it on satellite radio. Good luck finding a free source. I couldn't. The nice thing about the app is that it streams the local hometown radio broadcast. KMOX in my case. If you are a fan, it's worth it. I think for like $25 a month you can go all the way and actually be able to watch a lot of the games (including the series) on your phone, but that's a little too frivolous for me.

Parrot, we can do multiple conversations at a time here... No problem. What's on your mind?

Big C, hope all of it works out well for you. I'm not too good at normal frisbee, much less ultimate.

Joke against the Cardinals? the Cardinals complaining about being cheated in 1985 World Series

Cardinals had the 9th inning to come back to win.....they had a .185 team batting average and an ERA of 3.96..and scoring only 2 runs in the last 3 games of the World Series....AND they had ENTIRE GAME 7 to come back to win and they lost 11-0 in that game, the worst defeat in a world series game.

GOOOOOOOO ROYALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEST TEAM IN 1985!!!!!!!!!

KANSAS CITY ROYALS 1985 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS.....CARDINALS GET OVER YOURSELF...YOU LOST ....AND YOU DID IT TO YOURSELF

just having some fun...being from Kansas City
