Davy, those weren't MOM's, those were the Boston fans during game one. Apparently singing Sweet Caroline makes them feel all warm and fuzzy... The Cards fans sat there in quiet horror.

I found it exhilarating. But then again no one ever accused me of being normal. GOOD MORNING TO THE JOLLY ROGER AND ALL THE CUSTOMERS. TODAY IS SATURDAY, COLD BUT NICE OUTSIDE. Wife is leaving for a few hours so hope to see you all in the sky.

Good game but I think bad call, the obstruction wasn't intentional. What a shocker.
I guess its history now. Con grad to the cards. AFTER AN EXHAUSTING STUDY OF THE OBSTRUCTION CALL I HAVE COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT IT WAS A GOOD AND PROPER CALL. AS A MATTER OF FACT I AM IMPRESSED AT THE WAY THE REFS HANDLED THE PLAY. WHILE YOU HATE TO SEE A GAME END ON THIS KIND OF PLAY IT WAS A GOOD CALL.

I missed the game. Watched a lot of replays. Looked like a good call to me. Unfortunately.
I didn't think there was a play at third, but I suppose in a world series you're not going to see someone hanging onto the ball and getting second guessed for wimpiness. But I always cringe when a catcher throws for a play. There's a lot of outfield out there. (And if he didn't throw, Pedroia sure would be the headliner today. Great play on the grounder.) Hopefully I haven't pissed off the fellow Sox fans! That's just how I see it. Manfred

I wonder what rugby players think of this game? "Salty should have head-butted the lead runner after tagging him out. Criag should have elbowed the third baseman in the groin on the way in, and stepped on his head on the way out." It's funny to step back from the rules and see what kind of game MLB has constructed here.
Sure sells a lot of beer though. M
