Wow General! Didn't realize you were about... (Pssst... Manny, for crying out loud! You know you're supposed to turn the back porch light on when the fuzz is here, especially while working on projects

). Yeah Gen, howzit? Man haven't seen you in ages. I swear you look a foot taller than I remember. Good to see ya buddy. I was gonna loan ole Jacklpe a book a told him about, but seeing how he's not around, you might wanna take a look. Lewis Grizzard... Wonderful Southern humorist. Take it as long as you like and drop it back here when you're done.
Well no hard feeling 'bout taking that beautiful horse back. I mean I understand. He's a real prize. I completely understand. As a matter of fact, when the boss told us we'd made a deal and had to give him back, I volunteered to deliver him myself. Just got back after a stop or too on the way. Saw Dix when I dropped him off and he was nice enough to sign the receipt of delivery, certifying we returned YOUR horse. And get this, I just happened to have Beanboy with me. I swear I didn't even know he was a notary. My own brother, I mean you believe that? Anyway, Dix seemed a little nervous about signing legally binding documents that prove beyond a shadow of doubt that we returned YOUR property, exactly as YOU requested. Anyway, BB just up and volunteered to LEGALLY notarized that receipt. It made Dix feel loads better. You see now he understand there absolutely no way we could try to take YOUR property away again.
Hey Manny, let Lopers know I put that receipt in the office safe with that other LEGALLY BINDING contract, the General was so nice to sign.
And General, don't forget to stop by for some Q this weekend.
Later all!
