Yay! Thank you thank you thank you! Yes I agree the title of the winner is the Tournament Winner not the best in all of Dogfight since as we all agree we don't have the tools to determine that player or even what that really means.

Whip I hope you appreciated this comment by me..I just want to put to rest this whole idea that kill/ratio is the end all and be all in ability...at least after months of you and I discussing we are getting "closer" to what we are talking about...

BTW, I sure wish that Zuperman would show the stats on the Zepplin.....like the header be "10 hits on Zep".....and the number shown in ranking under that category would be the number that is a multiple of ten hits on Zepplin.....So if under your rank it shows "1000" under the category "10 hits on Zepplin"....that would be 10,000 hits on the zepplin...

Whip what do you think?.....how can we help Zuperman come up with a new category for Zepplin killing which matches what the point calculator does for the current rank? Cause I love the current rank point calculator.

I would like to play Whip. We all just have to bear in mind that a perfect tournament won't be possible, and not let ourselves get too upset over losses and end up arguing when its over. Setting up "controlled conditions" is a real challenge without help from Echoboom, and I doubt that'll ever happen.

And I agree with you that it's easier to run etc but its the best player of dogfight the game and without the other elements it isn't really showing that. As I said I don't mind having an event as you describe, it sounds great I just want the other stuff too and since the winners of events will be announced also you can and this goes for everyone, simply participate in events you want to participate in.

Whip...I suggest for those participating....that they have two "time stamp" screenshots: 1) their total points and 2) their rank section with the categories (hangar bombed, kills, deaths, won games, etc. etc, )

then at the end of tournament do the same thing at the end and the difference is what the total is.....that way you can determine winner of the hangars bombed, winner of the total kills, etc, etc,

Thats my suggestion....that way its not based on how much you play but actual results of the games for each aspect you think is necessary...

I would like all the results actually not only what you are asking for but even more...I do appreciate your effort always Swop. I would like all the numbers for what makes up our points including friendly planes hit and successful land in chute. I would also love longest tank hit, planes hit in air from tank, highest successful bomb drop, and anything else we can brag about

Whip, you dont get points for hitting or killing friendly planes....you actually LOSE points now....50 for a bullet and 250 for a kill of friendly plane.

All we would need then is Zepplin point category and maybe successful chute land category.

ohhhhhhh, how about a negative point category as well.....that way we can see those BAD and unethical pilots category totals of negative activity?

The negative scores would be a nice number to know don't you think and I realize all that can be done is what makes up our points realistically but can't a man dream? Like I would love to see Blue Max's kills per minute figure and everything but I'm sure its not possible.

there is no way around screenshots to truly calculate ANY tournament that comes about in Dogfight.

No it's not counting screen shots a lot I can get from the numbers in the system itself the rest have to be screenshots since we can't capture the info any other way. Since you are not interested in participating in those events I will worry about how exciting or not the rest is, really please comment only on parts you will participate in. I don't want to be a jerk but I don't want to waste time discussing things with people who aren't playing.
