If you are referring to the "flaming"plane, please read DOFIGHT NEWS and FLASH topics. All info there. Good luck shooting it down & getting the rumored "reward" of a SPECIAL plane, prize $, & promotion. It appeared with the new update. First is was seen by Slenderman & myself. Then it was photographed by Pilot A. Dork. Attempting to analyze it's computer signal, Slenderman received an unexplained coded signal. Then in an AMAZING show of his flying skills, the legendary Slenderman, hit it with 1 shot & received in another coded message. Both can be viewed in the above mentioned topics.

Some have suggested glitch. All evidence supports a hidden part of the experience here. And if it is a glitch, would "The Faceless One" try to conquer it?

I call them ghost planes (GP) - the first time I noticed them was when I first started playing, and after seeing someone shot down (announcement on screen) the plane was still up flying around. Lately I have run into several running around including a tank that appeared to be a ghost tank. This is a big glitch in the game and should be fixed. If the game can record a kill it should also be able to clear the sky of it after the crash (or retry/jump if responded to). I find it a major distraction (yeah I have chased many into the wilderness)

A day ago was the first time I also saw someone else also shooting at the same ghost plane. I had thought it (GP) was some local non-updating or Android glitch, and not shared by others. Sort of satisfying on one hand to see someone else wasting ammo and time - I thought I was the only dummy chasing them. Another aspect (not connected to GP) is sometimes planes appear through the mountains, you don't really get to shot at them until you crest the ridge and there they are.

IMHO I think the ghost plane is an artifact (bug) and should be fixed.

Downed fighters would be in flames, and no one would be fooled by them. Real zombies look exactly like normal landed planes or parked tanks, but they don't move, and they don't answer when you talk to them.

I used to think they were players who had left the game, and due to some kind of glitch they remained after they should have disappeared.

IQQI's ghost planes must be something else. Sometimes there are laggers so bad that you can empty your magazines at them with no effect. You're actually firing into the sky, while the actual plane is somewhere else, shooting down a team mate of yours, seemingly out of the blue.

To day Mibzzi has become dogfights ace of aces by means of planes killd as yet B strachen is holding onto #1 spot as top ace statistically.
The alies and central powers have been hammering at each othere all day in combat in means of solders tanks and aircraft firing there guns at all means neccisary to kill there oponits.
Imunity is spreading like a fire throue dogfight In its blasted way that the new pilots can rule the air with iron fist as long as the can avoid crashing into the ground. wich happens every time basically so our most deadly and feared pilots still hold the air in there fist.
The 111th squadron has grown with so many members that it is no longer a squadron but a mere army now. Also two of its leaders have resigned , skydavis and Kevy, whos spots as leaders are being voted over to 4 candidates where only two will win.
The enigma squadron is still out and about keeping dogfight a good fun place to play by muting and banning all who break the laws by creating evil and ruining the game by means of killing there oun side bombing there oun hangers and most cominly harassing othere members by cussing and bullying them. Attention all law breakers watch out becuse you'll be caught and reported in.
Also every day the dogfight community grows and it's pilots become more skilld threatening the domination of the air that some skilld pilots are very skilld at doing.

It is a glitch....... Its a glitch in the coding, and a certain series of events, possibly predetermined, possibly random, creates a flaming plane.

Ok,
So let me enter the Zombie conversation. It was my understanding that these zombies register many, many many hits without being destroyed. I have read comments stating that people are in the middle of exiting or some kind of disconnect. Meaning that the "zombie" player isn't really in the game.
However earlier today in a bomb the base game there was a player named "yeagermeister" who on two occasions was hit well above 30 times each time by more than one attacker to no avail. If this had been a zombie the plane would merely continue flying straight...correct?? This plane however made turns aimed towards the base and successfully bombed it twice.
This certainly sounds like a zombie with a brain. This could be a very dangerous type of Zombie.

Bigbossman that sounds a lot like my problem but mines was with a tank.
We bomed it a lot, shot it, etc it registered the hits but it didn't die

I have seen lag had lag and have seen the delay in the death of a lagging player. This player was hit so many times, returned to their base, reloaded, came back and bombed my base (twice). All the while being hit with lots of hot lead. Could we call this "Zombie Lag"??????
