THE B STRACHEN METHOD

I believe it was B Strachen who told us about this little trick to capture the carrier a little quicker and easier. If it wasn't Strachen, please forgive me for giving the credit to the wrong person. I've used it several times with good effect:

You land on the lower flight deck, and taxi along the right side until you arrive at the innermost corner, where you turn sharply until the nose of the plane points back at the exit opening.

Then, when time is about to run out, you rev the engine till you see the first signs of movement, release the brakes and throttle down at the same time. You lift off just enough to reset the timer, and can easily land again. It allows you to move the pointer all the way from red to blue.

Of course you can do this on the normal flight deck too, and it's much easier because you can position yourself with no risk to get stuck, but it's always an advantage not to be shot at while you're sitting there.

While I was sitting there for two long minutes, the other half of my team took command of the other carrier, and we won the game surprisingly quickly.

Then i just back up from the wall and do it all over again
