When Laura was about to see the light of this world, we had three options: Laura, Luiza and Yasmin. We kept Laura because it has an open sound, and no one at offices would ask if it is written with S or Z (case of Luiza / Luísa, the two most common forms) or if it has an Y or I (for Iasmin or Yasmin). I have
low no tolerance for spending such time filling in forms in banks, hospitals and alike...
