I cannot take it any longer. I would like to be considered for membership (again).
I don't get much flying time at the moment but I spend 20 minutes most evenings scanning the forum before switching to redhotmoms.com or momsteachingteens.co.uk or badmoms.org or whatever is more interesting than you nutters at the time (sometimes gardenersworld.au but can we keep that quiet?).

As much as I try to stay away from this thread, I keep coming back. I like my independence but in the past couple of months I have been drawn to the idea of belonging - but I didn't want to be accountable to an established order. I was an original Misfits conspirator, excited by the idea of what I thought would be 'different' but that didn't work. No criticism of Foust, Ghost and co. Misfits are a great crowd, but it was not for me. I realise now that you are either in or out. I enjoy interacting on the forum, but I feel like an intruder when chipping in.

In considering my application you should take into account not just my recent awesomeness (PH, you would never get a three digit score against RB!) you should also consider my sorry past. I first subscribed to DF as Simmo. Many of you will know him, some probably still dislike him. I'm past apologising for him, but I want to be transparent. In exorcising Simmo I changed my name to Ronnie, but I also fly as Lord Lucan. From time to time I introduce my special collage Mrs Malaprop. She is very likeable but talks rubbish. I am sending her for electrocution lessons next week. seriously, If you want to know more, pm Cardinal Wiggoglio for an objective opinion of me.

Also (let's get it all out there), I am 50 yrs old, married with three sons (22nd wedding anniversary on Saturday - thanks for the reminder), 20 yrs British Army 10 yrs Australian Army (what a sucker!) atheist, socialist tendencies, pro abortion, pro gay marriage and all that goes with that. But on the other hand I am honest, hard working, patriotic and realistic. Also, when I get drunk I become incredibly good looking and wittty.

After reading even more of the original MOM pages to try and establish my theory that us 'newer' MOMs have changed the forum into a somewhat less mean old man thread, I have had an idea. We need to go back to our/thier roots and continue building what the originals laid the foundations for. We can't do this alone though, we need the regular input from the greats to steer this thread back in the direction it was destined to go. We need less paranoid, soft essex folk and more brutal wig's, Tex's and Bstracan's.

If the big 'wigs' have all flown of to the star chamber to carry on their own world, who is left to lead us?

I suppose i am just writing crap that we all knew but i guess someone needs to start the revolution of MOM and that person is ME!!

There is nothing special about your 120 kills. Post a clip of you beating Rickenfaker or 420 in a chase 100 times, (or even once) then perhaps I'll be impressed. Flying straight, meeting in the middle, winning an endless series of coin-toss chicken runs...bragging about this is the kind of nonsense I expect of some other squads, not of M.O.M. Adjust your posts accordingly from now on.

Noush, "be on your side" was in reference to in-game only. It has nothing to do with who's side he takes in an argument or what opinion he agrees with. IMO, he's a great player. BTW, Biggs, we've recently added a hazing ritual for new and returning members. During a game, if you see either wig, bopes, dent tex or any member of the SC and you are shot down by any of them, you have to say "thank you MOM, may I have another". This ritual is not intended to scare, humiliate, extrapolate, instigate, annihilate, fumigate, or terminate a member (and I'm not referring to a limb, sorry for the confusion).

This squad represents the extreme melting pot of DF. We are all different. We have varying opinions, ideas, likes and dislikes, and attire (that's for you dent, I'm not judging).
