My oh my, you guys spent an hour or more on the can playing a game and now you complain you can't get up. Well we tenneessians have designed a special toilet system so I don't have that problem. Tenneessians may be the (BUTT) of many jokes but we have it going on. Picture 1 and 2 is my toilet system. When I do have to leave my comfortable loung chair I slide on my new fish slippers (pic 3).

DC, you can't apply to M.O.M and then just announce you don't eat cake. It is one of principal non-principles. I'm afraid this may result in an "inadvertent" reshuffling of application on the desks of the SC and may land you on the Name and Shame thread. A little clarification of rule 11 the wording is....'may elect to' , you can call rule 11 it does not mean any other MOM in game is going to abide by it , you should consider a no response to your call as a negative and expect that MOM to come after you. It only applies if one MOM calls 11 and other MOM's respond positively. Other than that shoot and get shooted

Adding to what Muck said, where is the rule that says a perceived Rule-11 violator should be hounded from the squad by the perceived Rule-11-observant?

The "Torches and Pitch Forks" rule? The "Tar and Feather" rule? The "Overkill" rule? The "Tighty-Whiteys-in-a-Bunch" rule? The "Hyperventilating into a Paper Bag" rule? Funny I don't see those rules anywhere.

Maybe they're all in Rule 6. But I think somewhere in there you'll also find the "Is This Persecution Really Necessary?" rule. Ya, I think I saw that in there.

Quite funny you say this, as that's what seems to be now happening against Noush Noush...... All someone/anyone had to do was discuss this with him when he posted his remarks, why wait until Diesel resigns and then start over reacting?

I agree that Rule 11 is clearly stated as optional but I have only ever been asked, 'rule 11 Roo' by one person and that was jans79 when he first joined, so I must say that it seems to have just been assumed. I know it was never meant to be but honestly ask yourself, when did you last ask at the beginning of a DF?

I even pee'd bellsaj off when I left M.O.M and blew him from the sky as he thought i would still respect rule 11 (which I did from then on)

I just want to be clear. If there is a "Tar and Feather" rule, it must be amended to specify falcon and/or eagle feathers. I don't want anyone getting cozy with my plumage!

I have no desire to drive anyone from the squad. I hate it when anyone leaves on their own, even. I hate having to kick anyone out. I have kept myself mercifully disconnected from this thread for several days. I haven't seen any of the incendiary material referring to M.O.M's D I E S E L.

If we've "lost D I E S E L" as a result of something that was posted here, D I E S E L is not the only member we're going to lose.

New guys, take notes: you are the NEW GUYS. This does not imbue you with the power to piss off long-term members of this club who happen to have pissed you off. All running jokes about "rules" aside, M.O.M has one, and only one, rule; look to your own conscience, play your game, have fun. Dogfight has a system of discipline in place. It's called "The ModSquad". Moderators whose job it is to mete out disciplinary action when it's deemed necessary. We don't vilify, persecute or crucify players, certainly not fellow squad members, in M.O.M. Am I quite clear?

As I understand it D I E S E L wasn't recognized as a legitimate member of M.O.M. A tip: if you can't even be bothered to learn the names of your fellow squad members, take a step back, count to ten, then STFU.

I personally recruited D I E S E L. He's a decent, intelligent, funny, solid family man, a helluva a player and a valued member of M.O.M. If you have a problem with him, you have a problem with me. If you have a problem at all, with anyone in this squad, you bring it to me, you DO NOT POST IT ON THE THREAD.

One of the first players to blow me down after we implemented Rule 11 was Brian Strachan. Anyone unhappy with B? Anyone with a few weeks in M.O.M under his belt think B needs to get the boot?

No real M.O.M does. We don't crow about our prowess. We play, we kill, we win, we see what's on TV. Chest thumping over meaningless non-accomplishments like triple digit scores is for noobs. By the way, there are a great many noobs enjoying impressive scores, too. They rack up their numbers the same way you do; with bigger, faster tablets and updated game ballistics that favor interminably long missions wherein higher scores are a natural byproduct. There is nothing special about your 120 kills. Post a clip of you beating Rickenfaker or 420 in a chase 100 times, (or even once) then perhaps I'll be impressed. Flying straight, meeting in the middle, winning an endless series of coin-toss chicken runs...bragging about this is the kind of nonsense I expect of some other squads, not of M.O.M. Adjust your posts accordingly from now on.
