IT TELLS ME KIDS ARE SPENDING WAY TOO MUCH TIME HATING THE WORLD AND WANTS TO BRING IT HERE,EITHER THEY ARE BEING BULLIED,OR ONE THEMSELVES AND CANT HANDLE THE FACT THAT THEY CANT INTIMIDATE HERE WITHOUT BEING EMBARRASED.

Legend you r so right about your analysis of the bully mentality... I notice that most of them r noobs without a lot of life skills (maturity) under their belt or in between their ears. They use false bravado like it is caviar. I imagine there is a swagger when they walk, with a sardonic grin. Research the phrase sardonic smile, the origins relate to a certain hot climate that will only freeze over when certain sport teams win their respective cups...

These kind are really cowards without a sail, if you get my drift. I stand up to most of them in real life as well as game life. I also give them many chances to honourable redeem themselves, interesting enough several have actually backpedalled when they realize their folly. An old manager of mine taught me a life lesson that has always stuck. Gary: always take the high road. Even though he was a fun loving reprobate I respected his wisdom and decided to learn from him, and others that reached for higher bars away from the mob below.

Striker Germany is nice, in fact some of it is downright beautiful, Bavaria has always held me in rapture, but the picture is of England, more specifically the England of Wordsworth, Shelley, Keats, Ruskin, Byron and a whole golden host of others and of course the indomitable Mr Wainwright.

And no, Muck's candy & magazine pics were not too suggestive! And no, Ped does not dislike ROSE! Try this, B: read something head-scratchy on here. Scratch your head. Count to ten before posting. Then forget the whole topic and post something unrelated. Maybe about your favorite candy or muscle car. Bomber, I seriously do love you like you were my own kid. The one locked in the fruit cellar since he turned 12.

Tex, yes, thank you. I wasn't saying (and I even said this) that anyone should dump Dogfight for Rise of Glory. I was saying Rise of Glory is a much much much better designed game. In some ways Pong is a better designed game than Dogfight. So RoG has jet style wingtip vortices, Jacob? So what? They work! Everything in Rise of Glory actually functions! Like a $2.99 miracle! The game is more arcade style. Agreed. The game works and Dogfight is fatally broken in at least a dozen different ways, Agreed? We're not talking about inaccuracies, of which Dogfight has, oh, let's see; unrealistic flight physics, identical flight physics models for all planes, incorrect top speeds, period inaccurate aircraft carriers, (they didn't have aircraft carriers in WW1!) unrealistic ballistics, trajectory, aiming accuracy at range, range itself, machine gun magazine capacities, total absence of gun jams, paved airstrips, conspicuous absence of observation balloons and reconnaissance planes but commonplace zeppelins?!...and on and on...we're talking about inadequacies, of which Dogfight has more than it has anything else. Remedial graphics, six cookie cutter mission types, interchangeable planes, one minuscule patch of game terrain, utterly unambitious modeling and physics...and with the bar set that low virtually none of it works correctly. Imagine Dogfight with the superior graphics, terrain maps, mission variety, plane selection and control, the generally professional design detail and stable functionality of Rise of Glory...combined with the social/community aspects of DF. I didn't buy into this game knowing it was one guy's "hobby". I'd love to discuss with him ways it could be made better, but...Joaquin has yet to answer a single email or message from me.

Joaquin, if you're reading this; why is there no security measure to prevent unauthorized players from stealing squad tags? In the past week I've encountered M.O.M players called Sky Defender, T Bagg, Bumfluff, Dogface, Im de devil and at least two others. Anyone recall voting these members in? So...T Bagg can run around team killing and verbally abusing people and they have no idea he isn't a real M.O.M member...and we have no way of stopping him...but Hoagie, who IS a real M.O.M member can't get a note from Joaquin helping him access the forum so he can get his tag. But "everything should now be fine since the update". It was one of your "updates" that f*cked up the game in the first place, chief. People are now petrified at the prospect of installing your so-called updates for fear they might lose their hard-won game stats, lose sound in DF as well as unrelated apps on their phones, lose the ability to connect to the game, lose functional bomb button and joystick control (my current personal faves)...

If Rise of Glory is "like a baby's toy" Dogfight is like The Island of Misfit Toys. So...screw it. Welcome to M.O.M T Bagg, Bumfluff and Dogface!

Amazing post as always wig. Seriously - stroll by 30 Rock and tell Lorne I sent ya by to help write SNL...

Ya have to go back many post's.
legend was going all vigilante on us and shooting everyone down not leaving us anything but the scraps. This guy nobody got under his skin also,(I forgot to drop the MOM tag, hint hint). Nobody was one of legend's target's....(Legend was using alias's for his work...). Well Dent, (myself) decided to stick up for Nobody(I forgot to drop the MOM tag, hint hint). An argument ensued and Legend left MOM.... I and Nobody knew that wasn't right for MOM, so I waited for nobody and legend never came back....Dent (myself) cooled down, actually rather quickley but didn't act soon enough and talked to legend and He decided to come back.....I just wish Junk would come back too.

Hope that made sense.......lol

Believe me it's easier to drive down than up, you can see where you're going all the way down, going up you sometimes have lean out the side or almost stand up, especially on bends and I did it in a vauxhall chevette automatic a few times.

Total change of subject. Lived in the UK years ago when we were stationed at Lakenheath (they had F-111s then, so I'm dating myself). Finally getting Ms. Tex thinking about a vacation next summer to visit England, Scotland, and Wales. NO IRELAND as she gets a case of the drools around dark Irishmen...

Any recommendations as to MUST SEE places? Figuring on a week's total timeframe.

That depends on what sort of stuff you want to see and are interested in, but Tex, a week, that ain't long enough, 2 weeks gets you a fair bit of sightseeing, just going from say London to Edinburgh loses you a day, but let's see what my countrymen and I can come up with for you.

So come on. Mad, Dibley, Firefox, J4ff, Ktheo, ect what to see in one week! Keep it tidy!

Feel the exact same way - a week is not enough, so maybe see if I can get two weeks. I am a history buff and we are both fairly well versed in English history. I wouldn't mind taking in a match at the Kop at Anfield, and Highbury, errr Emirates stadium.

Hmmm..., the government told you this and not long ago I do believe wig did make mention of the government was a friend in disguise or incognito, some such words to that effect. Now muck, that is being me, me being muck has an enquiring mind, a suspicious mind and will sometimes find little things, a word here a phrase there, will set him off with his little nose to the ground to ferret away and upturn all lose stones and worry away at little bits and pieces of this and that and the other. Hmmmm... B)

Oh dear, did we not mention we changed the punishment, oh dear, oh dear, well now you have to, oh deary me, now you have to stare at dent in his red angora sweater and lime green leotard while sput washes his red dress for not keeping you on a tighter leash! Oh and if you snigger giggle chuckle or have any other form of mirthiness pass your lips, you must next go into battle wearing dents lime green leotard, but not the sweater, he's quite fond of that, he likes the silky softness as it brushes against his him.
