Sorry to rain on the MOM parade, but hold off on the Duckwing day for a while. I promise you nothing's coming in on Jonathan Hunt through any military channels. Have any of you been contacted regarding funeral arrangements? Have any of you been given the opportunity to honour him on a family or regimental website? Does anyone know which hospital he's been in for a year? Does anyone know what big news a triple amputee who survives more than a few days is? Has anyone wondered how Jon could fly and chat on an ipad so well with one hand? Has nobody ever wondered why his sniper buddy, who stepped in the IED, was never mentioned in his posts?

I gave you the opportunity on an earlier post to tell me to piss off and mind my own business, but nobody did.

So, here goes - I'm coming to the conclusion that MOM has been cheated. Some of you are content to give Jon the benefit of the doubt, but I think our true heroes should be given that benefit. On hearing of jon's passing I posted some shit about loved ones I have lost, but now I feel foolish and compromised. I have been an Infantry Officer in the British and Australian Armies since 1984 (still serving but my knees are a bit creaky). I have been on many combat operations. I have met hundreds of real fuckin heroes, I have been a true buddy to dozens, and Sadly I have buried a few. I can't let them be dishonoured by a fraud. We must have facts. Coop, you're a military man - tell me I'm wrong.

You still have the option to shut me up. Perhaps a reverse MOM application vote is in order. I have probably said too much - gees ths scotch whiskey is good. I will never come back to the MOM thread unless invited. Over and out......

Simmo if you are right then the truth will out, eventually, one hopes.

But until we see hard evidence to the contrary (and right now there is none), Duck's posts about himself are unrefuted.

I understand what you are saying, But, we are on a forum and we either choose to believe what is being said on the MOM Thread or we choose not to believe.

That being said, how do we all know that what you just told us about your Military background is correct and true? You see, we can be whomever we choose to be on-line. I am betting that the members of MOM are more than likely the most honorable of the Forum. We are older and are less to BS about the lives we have lived, rather than a younger group who would BS about the life they would pretend to have.

Mom's don't lie. We have Rule 2 and 3, but in the truth of the matter these guys don't have a reason to lie..

Two things:

1) If he was not recruted yet, I vote "in" to this "Jimbo" guy... He brought me down four times in a row few days ago (and it was not spawn killing), so I want him with us, not against us anymore... If my vote counts.

2) Who is Dianna? (I presume that a lot of you people will laugh at me because of this, but I am so curious). I never met her in game, nor in forum...

3) About Simmo doubts: I think his arguments are valid, and if someone wants to investigate, it would be nice. But even being a noob, based on the few weeks passed since I joined this forum and joined MOM, I really believe that a MOM member would not dare to lie so much, and would not dare to laugh at our faces at this "degree".

One of the soldiers he met with was wounded after stepping on a mine and losing parts of three limbs.
No names given.

I think the one who lost parts of 3 limbs may have been a marine, the story is very scratchy due to no media coverage permitted.

I understand your concern Simmo. However, I'm in agreement with Scheibe. Simmo, you have to ask this question, "Why would Duck fabricate such a story?, What's his motivation?" Also, Brian and I'm sure a few have spoken to Duck on the phone. I truly believe that Duck is who he says he is. In his honor, and out of respect for Duck, I myself will not question the validity of his life. You can say or question what you want. This is why America is the greatest country in the world!! That's my opinion.

30 minutes ago, in a "Bomb the Carrier" mission, when I saw Ktheo in red, I thought it would be another lost game... But instead, he witnessed me hiting his carrier 9 times! How about it, Ktheo? I think I am finally deserving the MOM tag - and this MOM banner!

Try to start the game in axis base at north. The easiest way is flying from south.
If you climb the Mountain as soldier or with tank then is the north side the best.

There are 2 pilots and they watch this area in the two days.

If they notice that someone visits the Mount Duckwing or flies in formation then they try to give you cover.
They do nothing else then. So has nobody of you to return fire during this private moment.
If you see one of they both in the game then let them know what you want.
They show you the right mountain, how to climb or they can shoot you down over the mountain. So you can land in parachute. Enjoy the awesome view for a while and then go in your tank and fire an salute for Jon aka Duckwing cross over the map. At the end jump with your tank in full speed from the Mountain and try not to laugh! Forget it !!!. LOL

jenny and DanGER will give you cover and take screenshots if you want.  

But if you try to achieve the Mount Duckwing Challenge , then they give no cover!

Feel free to ask them for pics. Also battle-screenshots they can take for you.

We try to send you the pics as soon as possible. For some other reasons we took over 2000 screenshots in the last weeks. OH MY GOSH WHAT A MESS !!!  LOL So please don't wonder if we need a while.
