OK GUYS, I NEED A LITTLE HELP! Do I need to uninstall my dogfight app and re-download it in order to join the squad offically with the new password? I am having the same name/password does not match problem. I am worried about doing this and possiably losing my account. If this is whats advised please re-insure me that this would be the appropriate fix. I can trade stocks all day online but for some reason I am having trouble with this simple task. I am having problems with my banner too. I hate to sound like a jackass, but if someone would please explain this process to me I would really appreciate it. Its about time I fly the tag! with the banner just insert these at the end of the http site

It worked for me I think its around page 5 or there abouts

re: passwords, it seems the game password is a series of numbers (easily forgotten) that is generated by the app when you first download it and set it up. There does not seem to be a "forgot your password?" doo-hickey to reset the game password if you forget it. Hence Slenderman will tell you (as he told me) to delete the app and re-download it. This will generate a new (string of numbers) password which will be sent by email, but (Slendy assured me) doing this will not affect your account, your present rank, your XP or your fleet of planes. So I did this, and the game app took me through the set-up procedure. At first (horrors!) my rank/plane access seemed reduced/limited, until I hit the "upgrade" (or whatever) button and got the thingy for paying .99 or 4.99. I clicked that and it told me I already purchased it. I clicked through that and after that my rank/plane access was back to normal.

The forum password, in contrast, is chosen by the user and the forum has "forgot your password?" functionality. But unless you set your forum password to be exactly the same as your string-of-numbers game password, well, you know . . .

Bottom line: WRITE 'EM DOWN SOMEWHERES!!!!

Here is another, shorter version of the above:

it sounds like you need to get a new game password, which you probably forgot because it was an auto-generated string of digits. (The game password is different from the forum password which is chosen by the user.) You need to uninstall then reinstall the app. On set up, pick the "existing account" option, feed in the email address you used when you first got the game, and hit "forgot password". It sends you a new one by email. Use that to finish the setup (you will still have your current rank, XP and fleet) and log into the link for joining squads, pick MOM and THEN, finally, you will have the coveted and much-feared MOM tag in-game.

I have run into imposters on several occasions lately and to be honest the best way is to be polite and courtious it seems to work most guys dont understand the process and then you have the ASSES.Them ask once then keep shooting them down till you get kicked if there on your team then i put the word out for all on my team to do the same...seems to work as well.

Just had a losing situation in a BTC game against Muck and some others (including Nachoo...) and Nazis and a couple other Mom's came in to pull it out to win...a royal melee and all good spirited...though bloody...

I think this sums up our structure and tactic...

I know I am a few pages late on this, but in regards to Nachoo joining I would have to disagree. Granted, I haven't played with him in a while, but I had to hunt him in more than one game for team killing. At one point I got both teams to help out until he left. He was also very unimpressive as a pilot to me. ( yes I know I suck too, however, it is too late now and you guys are stuck with me.) hopefully he has changed his ways, in which case I'm always in favor of second chances. Apparently he has impressed a few of you. I hope he has changed!

Whitenow, do you know your Forum name and password? If so, the tag process is easy. I wouldn't uninstall/reinstall the game just yet, though I know a couple of us have without losing anything.

For the tag, go to Tools at Forum page top, select "join a squad" (or whatever it says) then simply select MOM and save.

For your banner, go to photobucket.com. search for the MOMsquadron album, find your banner, click on the thumbnail, click the expanded image again, mouse over the new image and under "Share" choose "More Options" then "Get Link Code"...copy the line of link code called "IMG for Bulletin Boards and Forums" "FULL SIZE", then go into your Profile, Edit, Profile Information...paste the copied link code into the signature box at the bottom and save the changes. You should be all set!

Let me know if any of that doesn't work and we'll get you sorted out.

I played a few games with nachoo tonight he was ok up to the last game. He was on same team as me , duck was on the other team duck let everyone know he was gunna land cause he was tired and wanted to watch the game play out from midfield , so nachoo says I see you and goes shoot duck on the ground duck took it in his stride and had a few more tussles with us and left.

Nachoo don't have my vote.

49er's did kick arse yesterday. It was great to see them win. Alex Smith, Randy Moss, David Akers, Frank Gore and many others did great. Especially David Akers 63 yd field goal was the highlight of the game!! Their defense and offense are strong. They will be in the Superbowl this season!!! I was so po'd when the Niners passed over local hero and fellow Cal alum Aaron Rogers for Alex Smith that I almost had to swear off my hometown team. The mileage Harbaugh has gotten out of Alex Smith (whom I'm still not completely sold on) has ben impressive. Maybe this year will be a return to glory.
