Yeah, Mac, Bopes is a little...special...where such stuff is concerned. I don't get it either. I mean, it's just some dopey old movie.

Ribbit... It's been so long since I've played this game religiously, like I used to. Surprised I still have the banner and all of that. To anyone who's been wondering why there haven't been any sightings of the my amphibious rear end, I'd like to clarify a bunch of stuff and give you the story of why I've had such a sickeningly long hiatus.

At the beginning of last school year, my senior year of high school, I was signed up for two dual credit college classes. After a few months, these classes became very overwhelming for me, and though I did my best to learn the subject matter and pass the class, I still barely scraped by. I also had a weekend job during the winter, which left me with little free time. Once I graduated, I got a job at a local taco joint and worked nearly every day of the week, which also greatly diminished my free time. I also had my wifi router destroyed by lighting that hit the house late one evening.

Now that I've officially started college, I expect to be very busy, what with all of the engineering classes I'm taking (going for a degree in electrical engineering) and having to work to be able to afford a higher education. But I do want to say this little bit: whether its for 5 minutes or a few hours at a time, I do plan on making Dogfight a little more habitual, like it used to be. I'm not saying you'll see me in the skies every day, buuuut I will also say that you may catch a snippet of the mythical creature that I've become due to school.

I congratulate any new members, as well as ask that I may gratefully be reinstated with the old tags that used to look so good (and intimidating) next to my plane.

I look forward to seeing you guys in the skies, and do hope I can afford the effort to play this a little more.

Speaking as someone that spent over half of his undergrad years taking the same classes as the engineers, I wish you the best of luck. I hope you like math. In a couple years when you're solving those homogeneous second-order linear constant coefficient ordinary differential equations, you'll relish the opportunity to escape into the world of a Dogfight for a few minutes. I'm finishing up a master's degree as we speak, so I enjoy the escape as well.

Tad, there's nothing to reinstate 'cause nothing got deinstated. We're prepping for the big Squad Wars update and its 50-members-per-squad limit by shifting M.O.Ms around under various new tags, s'all. Have a peek at Page 1 of the thread to see our division names which're our new in-game tags, then in the game app's menu screen hit "Squadrons", search "M.O.M" and tap the division/tag you prefer then submit a Join request. (Don't choose the M.O.M that comes up in the scrolly thingy with all the other non-M.O.M squads, we need to depopulate that one.) May I recommend Bride of M.O.M? See Bopeseses posteses over the past few days for some compelling visual stimulus.

great few games tonight wig! I do enjoy seeing you in blue so please dont get the wrong idea if and when i switch to the other side as people often run with their tail between their legs leaving the other side under-manned.
