Hi Rick,
Just got a bloody nose from playing againt Sergent Furax! He totally 'murdalized' us...but didn't see him lagg at all.

He is just incredibly fast in swirving about, and none of is stood a chance. Could it be that he has a much faster internet connection, or something like that?
Even in tight curves, much faster than I was.....
But what was clear is that he has no interest in reaching his goal, just intercepts in the middle of the field for high scores.
Never seen him carry a bomb!
Never flies head-on, only swirving to get you in a curve.....(well, it workes for him!)
Compimented him on his flying,

Well, just a thought.

I was in this game too, didn't see him lag at all, dropped his bomb at takeoff but had the decentsy to stay mid field and not come near our base, I've only just come to forum now and seen all these posts about him so at the time I was playing I didn't have a clue who he was, but to be perfectly honest I don't have anything against him (apart from the irritating bomb dropping, but thats not exactly new) he held a friendly convo and in his defence he was outnumbered for a majority of the game.

I'm not by any means saying I don't believe what you guys are saying, just putting in my 2cents worth :side:

Ok I'm sorry. I take back every word.
Just jumped into a game tonight and I was alone against 6 reds. I normally love games like this and really enjoy the fight. I took flight, popped the first few then seen Sergent Furax in the distance, straight away I seen his bomb fall from under him and he swooped past me and took me down, then he proceeded to my base where he pretty much stayed the rest of the game.

One red left and a couple of low ranked pilots joined my team, but none of us could get airborne long enough to make the first turn, the few times I did get up and managed to pop him he would just drop on takeoff and fly straight back to our base and carried on camping. I can deal with camping, it frustrates me but I work around it at the end of the day, the part that really got me going is how it ruined the game for the two low ranked pilots on my team who couldn't play because everytime they lifted off the runway they would come smashing back down in a fireball. They got pretty frustrated with it to the point where I seriously doubt they are going to return to this game. Also a low ranked player from his team seen what Serg was doing, liked his 50-5 kill/death ratio so he started copying him and joined him camping. Through out the game they were asked to play fair by all three of us but all we got back was arrogant smart ass comments. Stupid thing was after a while his team all left the game apart from him, and his low ranked camping side kick, there excuse for camping was "they were protecting their teammates" which I could understand.. If there was any! The whole game just became pointless, I stuck it out for as long as I could until I eventually lost connection. (Probably a good thing because I could feel my ipad about to be thrown against the wall).

The worst part about this whole thing though is that as you can see in the quotes above, last time we talked about this guy I defended his sorry ass! Won't be making that mistake again.

Good morning MOMS, HAPPY SUPER DENVER WINNING BOWL GAME.

GO DENVER.

Hows everyone doing. I'm suppose to play in tournament but don't know what to do, I'm sitting here waiting.lol

Yes that FURAX guy is a creep. He got mad at me for insulting him on the blacklist forum. I say it again, FURAX, YOU ARE CREEP AND GIVE A BAD EXAMPLE OF HOW TO PLAY A GOOD CLEAN GAME.

It was him that started me on my fanaticism of becoming a good DOGFIGHTER in which I am making great improvements on. I mean I'm sure i couldn't whip a WIG or BLUE MAX but I have started beating several of normal players now.

MOM IS NUMBER 1

EDIT, There is a guy out there called AIRPIC, a very good player and a nice guy. Don't let this one get away, he is MOM material. He is extremly tough and plays a good fair game. Maybe someone can get ahold of him.

Good eye, Davy, I've floated the invitation to Airpix at least once. There's no question about his having the M.O.M Stuff, by all means invite him again, anyone, should you see him.

I have not seen Airpix lately, has anyone else? I've invited him to apply a few times and from my last encounter, I inferred that he did. This guy is indubitably a MOM.

Also, I've been trying to get Von Len to drop by the forum. If you see him, give him your best Rod Roddy impression.

Sounds like MOM needs to start a camping and SKing campaign on the good Sarg. If you are MOM, don't play on his team. If you get the opportunity then camp on him hard and SK him every chance you get. Especially in a lopsided game. Never allow a player to do this to another squad mate without retribution. And never play against another MOM with him.

I tried to get in a game or 3 a few nights ago. No dice. I'm getting booted to home screen at the choose server or choose plane screen. Getting about 3 min of a game if I do get in.

I'm with you Max.
I only have one problem, he and his alike drop out before I get the chance. :(

Take them out a few times on their way over to your base and they quit.

Hey guys, I got a chance so I'm here to check in and say hi.

I haven't been able to play DF much because I've been pretty busy, but I noticed I'm listed in the M.O.M. prodigy pilots?

I don't know how long that's been there but what do I do now?
Should I send a join request to the squad?

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the MOModrome, Joe! If your Join request doesn't work keep trying, some M.O.Ms have had to re-request several times before I receive the notification at my end. the system seems to be working more efficiently than it did when first introduced, we get as many as a hundred requests a day, never fewer than thirty or forty.

To all tagless M.O.Ms, request to Join on your in-game menu screen. I know some of you (like Mauricio Penalba) have been trying unsuccessfully. Keep at it, it'll kick in eventually.

Was looking at the page 1 roster the other day. There were two historic MOMs that stuck out. Duckwing1 and LegendofKane. These guys are tagless and can't request anymore. Any possible way of them getting the M.O.M. tag? Would be a nice to have them recorded in-game as being a MOM for posterity.

I can't imagine the crying that might accompany a firefighter having to spend most of their shift out of the barcalounger and away from the Xbox!!! :P  As a lieutenant, well we both know you can't remember the last time you actually worked!!! I'm sure your station's fearless leader will make sure to cover a shift on the box upon returning to health.

BTW, I am also a lieutenant. I just did a year as a night shift watch commander. My troops were shocked to see me out of the office. Of course, this never happened during rain, sleet, or snow! ;)

Sir,
First of all I would like to say, "I really appreciate what you do for your community, and I am also very glad that we have been able to act like "Big Boys" up to this point". Kind of funny how Whiplash paired us up right of the bat....... Hummmm kind of like dropping a Benjamin Franklin (Hundred dollar bill) down in front of two homeless guys!

I will try and start this of easy, I do understand how painful it is for you gents, so feel free to PM me when your "Big Strong Alpha Male Part's" start to steer you wrong....

Side note: Kid's pay attention, so you will understand why THEY all wanted to be fire men.... (Only 5 more points and you would of made it...... Ask um at any therapy session)

Edit: yupppp already..... Your photo was very nice, I see you brought along some help (good choice)! Now did that front guy stop short to get the Nut-2-Butt started right off the bat, or you all just happy to see me?

Sorry we didn't hook up in the tourney! My weekend got full really quick (the price of 4 kiddos). I too appreciate your service! ;) I might be on the game about 8ish (9ish) your time. It depends on the wife's stress level when I get home. Sorry to call you out in such a public forum, but I know you've got that junior detective set stashed somewhere back in your closet. No need to be ashamed! ;)

Yah I have been hit or miss here to, I don't know if I will be home by then. We are about to head out for about a 2 hour drive, competition starts at 6:00. I might not be home until later then 9-10, I will try and keep you posted!

Junior set...... Priceless! When I got kick out of "Boy Scouts", at the age of about 13, the Troop Leader left his badge out (you know.... Always whipping it out....) I have keep it as a token, to remember "Never take the easy path"....

I do enjoy pinning it on, whenever it is my turn to play the bad guy for the misses......

Those two names actually represent three different M.O.Ms, Chuck; Duckwing, Kevin (the original LegendofKane) and Kevin's brother, Michael who adopted Kevin's name as a tribute when Kevin passed away. Michael was a longtime M.O.M under several names including Big Poppa Smurf, The Economy and The Chameleon. He's also a founding member of T.A.S.K, a M.O.M MORAF, and a personal friend. It's my hope that he'll decide to rejoin DF someday. In the meantime he, Kevin and Duck are most definitely and always will be M.O.Ms. With the revised squad management system there's no way to tag a player who no longer plays, but these three were tagged while with us and will bear our colors as long as there's a M.O.M Squadron.

Hi

So anyways you guys might be wondering whatever happened to Tad. Or not. What do I know, I'm a tadpole not a psychic. Anyways I've been very busy lately. My college classes are harder than ever (although we did just get this really pretty student teacher in one of them) and I've been working at a local ski lodge on the weekends. Add the fact I'm already strapped for time and you see my delemna. Anyways, I would like to welcome any new members that may have joined in my absense, as well as say "hey" to all the rest of you. I just saw a few glimpses of some M.O.M.s in a few games and even though they were short matches it does feel good to have gotten my winga back, even if they're clipped. And nonexistent. Well, I'll try and make playimg a regular occurence again (even if its on my lunch hour) and hope to see you all in the skies and, even more hopefully, on my team.
