It always surprises me how many of them went on to die in flying accidents post war. Wikipedia always has a good write up on the pilots. I always like to here what happened after they came home. Kind of like Paul Harvey's "The Rest of the story" on the radio.

As the MOM Official Historian I think I’m needed here to offer the correct light on the “re-application” of Snobumm1 aka Rob aka Black Star aka ????. There you see I almost gave away the juicy ending to the sensational succulent sordid story of Snobumm1. It all started way back in the 400 series of the MOM posts. MOM was transitioning from a happy go lucky don’t care about anyone else type of squad to a touchy feely squad that went out of our way not to offend anyone. I don’t know if this was more like the free love period of the 60s or more like the dark ages. I recall it more like the dark ages because although I was too young to participate in the 60s period of love I would like to think I would have enjoyed it. As opposed to this new-MOM attitude that quite frankly made me long for some 111th structure (well, not really, but I hope you get my point). Anyway, out of the haze emerged Snobumm1 asking what was the problem with some of the MOM pilots. Seems he got chat-sideways with some MOM pilots. I really saw it as kind of Snobumm1 displaying an old school MOM attitude butting heads with this new school MOM way of life. Well, of course, with the new touchy feely way the squad was acting no one got too upset and all was right with the world (if not the squad). But this really isn’t the point of the story because quite frankly this has all been very boring up to this point.

The real story here is that during this period of MOM there was one pilot noticeable missing from the MOM squad. One very vocal pilot and one that would not back down from a scrap. Also during this period of time there was a lot of discussion about alias accounts and flying under multiple accounts. Some were fine with it and some were against it. But I always thought it strange that Snobumm1 appears during this time and gravitated to the MOM thread. Well, anyway this aforementioned pilot returned to the threads around the time Snobumm1 dropped out and immediately ran into the new attitude of MOM. Ultimately he departed for another squad where he lives happily to this day. So how does this all fit you ask? Well, I don’t remember an application for Snobumm1 let alone a membership as Wig claims. Now I’m old and it’s quite possible that I’ve just forgotten but I prefer to believe that Snobumm1 was once a member of the squad under another name (it also moves this story forward)!

So, what name you ask? Simple…just take “Snobumm1” and take the ‘b’ and turn it around. Take the ‘o’ and leave it alone. Take the double ‘m’ and turn them sideways and squint a little until they turn into one letter. Then take the one ‘s’ and put it next to the ‘n’ and ‘u’ on top of each other. Then throw away the ‘1’ like that should never have been there. What’s that leave you – DOGSS! Yes, I believe Snobumm1 is really Dogss coming home under an alias name. Make sure you consider this when voting!

Oh, and of course, I’m fine with him.

Clay God,

Sorry for not being of much help against Wig and Snake...
And sorry for "forcing you" to "go humble"... lol
Seems that Snake became a little upset with my "humble" tactics... hope he and Wig take that as a compliment - after all, there was 2 red aces against Clay and 4 "no-Gods"...
B)

(I didnt save Snake`s name nor squad to find his HQ to let him a thank-you, so here it goes: thank you, Wig and Snake, for staying all game, and sorry if I decided to find my sneaky way to win)... we need to adjust our behavior by the enemy strength.

I took the RED PILL!

Ped. No need to apologize. You played great. So hard to get a good kill/death ratio with wig as a red.You are always a tough fight. And i always enjoy playing with you. You bombed a hanger. It was a bomb the hanger mission. you did what you had to do. Nothing worth sweating about. You know how snake feels. We have all been there. Outnumbered and a red takes the high road. Frustrating. But we are all guilty of doing it. I sure know i am. Snake is a good guy and if he was irratated i am sure he has moved on lol. You underestimate your flying abilities. I am always glad when I see your name come up as blue. You'll fight to the very end. Wig and snake played awsome. Taking it to the 6 of us. You only get one chance when facing of with Wig. So make it a good one. I was not able to get to the hangers by plane. I had to cowar behind a steep hill and tank the hangers from the maximum range. Hiding from wig. Also frustrating when outnumbered but i can't help myself, it's so much fun. I am just playing for fun. And as long as your not a team killer (which your not)or a spawn killer( which your not) or being a foul mouth idiot.. (Which your not)We will always be friends.

As the MOM Official Historian I think I’m needed here to offer the correct light on the “re-application” of Snobumm1 aka Rob aka Black Star aka ????. Well, of course, with the new touchy feely way the squad was acting no one got too upset and all was right with the world (if not the squad). But this really isn’t the point of the story because quite frankly this has all been very boring up to this point.

That's great, Zandor, thanks! Now can we hear the non-boring part?

There's a Freudian undercurrent in your posts. You keep coming back to "touchy feely", but...you're the only one in here who uses the terms "touchy" and "feely". A smarter psychoanalyst than I might draw the conclusion that you're repressing a desire to touch and/or feel your fellow M.O.Ms. I believe this may stem from a fundamental misunderstanding of what the 1960's Free Love movement was really about coupled with unacknowledged latent tendencies. While we encourage you to get in touch with your inner Richard Simmons there will be a second "Zandors Only" shower and restroom facility installed in the MOModrome first thing next week.

"Don't Ask, We'll Tell" is alive and well In M.O.M: The No-touchy No-feely Squad.

Yes, that was my first 100 game...thanks for posting the pic. At least it's not like the last time it was my first time and then had all of those embarrassing pictures leak out.

I believe at my age that all of my latent tendencies have become past indiscretions.

As long as we keep a peep hole in place between the showers, I'm good.

Speaking of Richard Simmons (one of the most underrated comedic geniuses of our time), just google the youtube clip where he was on "Whose Line is it Anyways". :woohoo:

BlueDane, if you are reading, sorry for bailing. It was an awesome game, and I was dialed in..had like 40 kills to 4 deaths but soon as that phantom xia entered, I had to leave. I can stand laggers, tk'ers, and sk'ing campers but phantom kills just u undo me...cant stand it, yea yea, its not their fault, blah blah, neither is it ours so what are we supposed to do? Sit there and get phantomed all day long? Game doesn't cost that much, if they like it so much, They can always buy android or iOS version but no, this guy xia loves it....cant wait till there a fix, without actual real time fighting experience, there are going to be alot of marshal phantoms with the skill of an aspirant. Anyways, thanks for listening to me rant and vent...agghhh, i feel better already, time to go back up

been Noushed lately?

Hey, Parrot. Sorry for that very brief episode of BTB we were in together this evening. I was trying. Believe it or not, I had to go into bathroom just tohave that little bit of game time. We are watching grandbaby tonight and he is wound up! :)
