Guys rule 11 is if one pilot decides he doesn't want to shoot other moms thats his choice. The other mom pilot may,decide no he wants to shoot you and other mom pilots. In that case you should change your mind and shoot the mom pilot who is going to shoot you. That should be simple enough. We are grown men here.

I think from now on We,can all assume Diesel wants to shoot other moms. I always do too and alot of the early guys do as well. So maybe we should just make,it clear in this very thread. Who does and who does not. That ought to give everyone incentive to catch up on the forum. I shoot and like to be shot at.

Rule 11 - In "Dogfight" aka "Free For All" (FFA) missions, M.O.Ms may elect to refrain from shooting other M.O.M's. "Rule 11" is the call. "Okay!", "Roger!" or "Piss Off, you die" are all acceptable responses. This is not compulsory, merely one of the pleasant aspects of being a M.O.M. If you wish to kill fellow M.O.M's, good luck with that. But do NOT kill another M.O.M without first declaring your compliance with Rule 11 or lack of compliance therewith. Some M.O.M members treat Dogfight missions as the nearest we'll ever get to "Squad Wars" without heavy doses of hallucinogens. We are a team, it's nice to occasionally have the chance to function as such. We do NOT, however, gang up on non-M.O.M players. A "Race to fifteen" is one way to view it, patrolling together is another. But no unfair advantage should be derived other than an obviously exponentially multiplied measure of charm.

We are grown men and would be expected to follow the rules not break them like small children and have to be reminded of that fact...
And yes I love to shoot other MOMS but I always follow the rules of MOM...
If they are changed then so be it...
If you think I am whining then boy you got it wrong... It's called the rules of engagement and if you were ever a soldier like I then you would understand...

My take on rule 11... I won't shoot at another MOM first. I'm new and can't afford to piss youall of. But if you shoot at me it's different. Nothing needs to be said. Miller told me in a FFA game a few days ago the rule had been suspended. I said ha ha ok and noted diesel was i game. Well miller was in my sights and I didn't shoot. Diesel shot me down so... It turned into is watching a guy trying to find the underground and diesel won for whatever its worth

Sonny, I have rarely said anything in reference to a Rule 11 in a FFA game... These 3 steps have worked for me every time in a FFA game. These steps work and the really worse thing that happens is, YOU DIE atleast once during the game..


1. Fly your plane towards a MOM Tag and try real hard not to shoot. (Easy so far?)

2. If you detect, Bullets, Tracers, Rocks, Empty Beer Cans, Dents old Dresses, Old Morrissey CDs Hurtling in your direction? Chances are they are not interested in Rule 11 ! Or you just came across DIESEL !!

3. This is a hard step here:
a) If they shoot first, Shoot back, he's obviously not interested and has read RULE 1...
b) if they DON'T shoot, wave nicely as you pass in Peace
c) if they DON'T shoot, wave nicely as you pass in Peace, turn like hell and shoot his ass down!!! RULES 2&3

DISCLAIMER:
If you decide to use Step 3c, then that MOM will be on this thread complaining about Sonnycruz77 NOT knowing about Rule 11....

Just can't bring myself to shoot at a squad mate in an FFA game - tradition I suppose. Anyhow, Diesel started the coversation by saying "Um... 11?", and i left the decision to him. to his credit he did ask first, so he and I had agreed not to use the rule. I wanted to make sure you (and any other M.O.M who might've joined us) were aware. Rule 11 makes us somewhat unique, and gives us a chance to pull for each other.

It has worked for me... I don't speak much in game. Not shooting youall has saved me from being shot down

Could we change rule 11 to rule 68, 70 or maybe the one between 68 and 70 would be better...

11 is a one on one anyway's.....

Rule 11 sucks. It's a great reason to not kill the guys that won't give you a name in this game. Still I won't shoot first. But if shot at? It's different. Why would I want to be here if it wasn't for the best players being here. And if I can't shoot them? Why be here. Rule 11 should be something that's up to you. Of course rule6 overrides it so enough said
