I did check the stats Bomber. Your numbers speak for themselves, for those who understand how to interpret them

Im not even sure what my stats are...I used to know back when I was in the top 100 two times....I keep getting pulled away from tge game...So now I dont even care what my stats are...lol

I will say that ParrotHead and I played with pluribus on a low ranked account last night. It was the first game I have played with him ever that he played. No negative vibes. Parrot and I both complimented him on his game play. He has the capability to be a good team mate. Plu and Parrot were keeping me well in check. I actually enjoyed the game. I even lost it. My views on the negativity are well known so i won't beat that horse.

Elaborate Dixie. Why does Fly drive you crazy?

I can honestly say that when the mission requires bombing I set out from base fully intending to drop the heavy bomb on the enemy target. that said, I can also say that happens less often then planned or intended. I personaly want very much to bomb the hell out of the target, and there are a couple ways this can be accomplished. 1, with said bomb (under the plane) 2, tank. every mission, every run on a mission is different and presents different challanges to accomplish the goal of bombing the enemy. I keep my bomb till the very last moment that I possibly can. That said.... I have released the bomb at every mile marker through the field of battle, in cluding my basees runway.....

every time you take off for the enemy you have to assass the situation, not once but many times thru the run. if the bomb, due to its anchor effect tho the plane its crazy to keep the dang thing straped to you when the enemy is on top of you or bearing down on you.few noobs can be out run for long with the thing straped to your belly. so its released more then i would like too. but if not done your chanes of reachinr target..... small at best.

Paul is one of the most liked and respected players and members in game and on forum, so unless you can give us a very good explanation for your views you will be making a lot of enemies.

Agreed Paul is a great guy. I think at times I may drive him crazy. I'm workin on that compassion Paul trust me brother. Ol Blue isnt good at turning the other cheek. Paul/Flymagic is one of the easiest going most understanding players and forum members. That's why I want an explanation.

Raptor... I do not think anyone here in the "no dumping" camp would fault you for the situations you listed. I follow those same rules of thumb myself. When we, or at least I, talk about dumpers, I mean somebody that takes off and drops at the end of the runway EVERY run. Oh, dude I don't give folks a lot a grief about typos here, but when you used a would referring to evaluating a situation you actually said "ass ass". Made me giggle. You may wanna look into a proofreader app.

Just because dixieconfederate said that " flymagic drives him crazy" doesnt mean much.....that would be no reason to start a linch mob against dixie......I bet you anything that if we got to know everyone here on a personal basis, I believe we all would have some issues with each other.....I remember when flymagi first came on. He would say these difficult to understand sayings (couldnt think of the right word).....it" drove many crazy", but now we respect him and "understand" who he is......He maybe the most respected one here......

His post was much to vague for a name and shame of Paul. Explanation is due. Driving you crazy is one thing. Name and shame another all together. Like I said I'm sure i drive Paul crazy and we are squad mates.

He has every right to speak his mind without everyone gunning for him.
In short: I, personally, do not believe that dropping your bomb on takeoff, during a BTB or BTC mission, just to ATTEMPT to advance in rank is smart or fair to your teammates. To then add "I WANNA A TANK" when you have overwhelming force against the other team comprised of new folk, is ridiculous. When another new person on my team agreed with DC, I expressed my feelings.
So, DIXIECHICK, I feel ashamed of my actions of trying to get you to understand that the game is NOT just about you. It's a TEAM game.
I feel ashamed of myself that I wasted my time with you when I may not have much left.

P.S. GENERAL, you are absolutely correct. Recently paralyzed and massive pain meds made my mind not function as well as it should have. Hell, when I read some of my earlier posts....THIS GUY IS NUTS! comes to mind. In fact, it still does......

It was nothing big. It was bomb the carrier and I only needed a few more points to level up. So I dropped my bomb to go quicker right after I took off that way I could just get some one fast and level up before I had to go to the store. He got mad at me for dropping my bomb and said i wasn't playing with honor. It wasnt a big deal it just made me mad

My apologies flymagic if I don't play the game the way you do. It was only to get points and it won't happen again.

Thanks for speaking up Dix and explaining. Paul is like Big Papa 'round here and we were just shocked to see his name on the list. (For my friend Pedro, I'll use a "figure of speech" that is one of my favorites). Putting Paul's name on here will never make him a bad guy. "You can put a cat in the oven, but it don't make it a biscuit."

So onto another deserving being listed. I cannot beat this dude I a chase. He slaughters me everytime. I put him right there with Big Tex in the best chasers. I just left a BTB with him and noticed he wasn't carrying a bomb right off the bat. I ask him why he's not carrying and he replies "Nope, never ". I tell him I'm sorry, but I'm not playing that way. Tell him its a real shame because I like him and leave.

SB467, it really is disappointing. I hope you change and start playing the missions when its BTB or BTC.

When you dropped the first (uselessly point-wise for you) and I mentioned it, I thought you got a clue. When you did it again 10 minutes later and the others started to think that is the way to advance. I realized you hadn't. Had I stayed you would have gotten points to advance and a clue.
Patience on advancing. You'll get there faster as a team player AND have more fun.

Had SB in a DF yesterday. VERY good. Got me 2 out of 3 in the match. First time I've played him. Stats are wildly one sided. Looking forward to another so i can get his methods down.

Sb has been a chaser from the start.....I remember when we chased each other (rarely)......He is a good guy and a good one to have on your team

SB is a good player. lot's of fun

Yeah, like I said. I like him. I can't beat him in a chase 9/10 times. Playing him makes me better. However, I am not playing in bombing games with guys that refuse to play the missions. Zep or FFA games, sure. But I am not going to play against someone just to be points fodder because I carry and they don't or with them to give them a win while I'm in a bombing mission and they think its a FFA. I enjoy the missions. I enjoy playing toward an objective. If I have someone in a game that's not playing towards that objective it takes the fun out of it for me. Like Sweet Brown says, "I ain't got time for dat."

The exception is Bizmart. He's my slinky and seeing him in flames makes up for any other lost enjoyment.
