Here's the latest version of my age statistics for DOGFIGHTERS.
These percentages are of course only approximate, but with numbers now in the hundreds, it is possible to interpret some of the dips and peaks in the distribution chart.
The average age of dogfighters is 29 years, and the median age is 27.
To make the histogram as reliable as possible, I have lumped the dogfighters together in 5-year groups. Some information is lost in this way, for example that the largest single age group is the 13-year olds, who make up almost 9% of the total all on their own.
There is an obvious dip in the age group 20-25, when most young people spend their time on their education.
Then there is the 40-year peak, when people are well established and start to become restless. Some choose these years to be unfaithful to their marriage partners, others just stay up at night playing Dogfight.
When I released the preliminary version of my age-distribution chart, there were some hints of a senior-citizen peak at 65+.
It seemed logical that with more free time on their hands, people might spend more of it on games. There may still be a peak, only so far the numbers do not support that conclusion.
