Seems predictable, really. People my age are into this kinda stuff, have time, and know the technology. College and late high school kids are buzier with school and dating. Once theyre out of college, many get married, so they dont have school to deal with, presumably just a 9-5 job, and they arent dating anymore. That means theyve got some free time. Eventually, they get into a career where theyre working more than 9-5, so they dont have as much time anymore. 30-50 year olds, its pretty much the same thing, except their marriages are older, and they dont go out with their souses as much, so that frees up some time. They were born late enough for modern technology to be understandable. Older than that, and everyone talks about flibverty gibbets and dagnabbits and younguns.
Anything invented before you turn 15 is normal. From 15-45, its new and revolutionary. 45 and on, its against the natural order of things.
