Also, what do you wolves think of a weekly update email, kinda like GI does? My thoughts are it would be a huge morale booster, tracking everyone's weekly progress, as well as a chance to recognize achievements of our pilots. What are your thoughts?

Padre, Brother, keep up the blood boiling pursuit. I'll try to keep up, lol. I played one last night(early morning) that had me near 30 kills when my battery crashed and my phone overheated sensing the heat coming off my hands, no doubt. And yes, the death ratio was right up there as well. It was a great fight!! She! Was there, as well as nix. Toward the end, it was 6 on 2 of us and someone (ranked, but unnamed) camped and wouldn't let us off the carrier. Kind of took the fire out of us. Somehow, I take it as they were afraid of us and our prowess, that they had to keep us down in a cowardly spawn assault. Ok, I'm done venting. Back to hunting!

I agree Viper, and nominate either you or Myrlin to write, co write or what ever.. You both have a flair for the printed word.. With (in my HO) James having a poetic voice that would balance your para military one.. A flat great idea that I think the Skipper should sign off on.. I really like this idea, and honestly think you two could auther something that would be the hit of Dog Fight..

The format could be news, Sqd member achievements, the battle of the week (BOW) that could be a great read with any of us sending in a synopsis of a favorite exciting moment or game.. Prayer issues or a weekly prayer/ positive thought (uhh, I know this guy who would be happy to send one each week tee hee hee) achievement award for those leveling up, and maybe a good pilot award for somebody that does something good or positive in a game..

A related story, and this sounds WAY egotistical, but A. It happened B.i am.. Yesterday at one point I was in a defend the Zep game and put on the screen three times .."defenders, let's make this a truce game so the guys lucky enough to get the zep can win some points/ $".. It worked the zep was taken down while three of us "reds" just watched.. It was sorta fun, but more importantly (ego aside) a good example of a move that might be nominated for the "good pilot" or "good deed" award..

Also how bout a new member section, and maybe a pilot of the month award.. I'd nominate red here based on his outstanding numbers.. Ok I'm rambling.. Yeah that's it a rambler of the month award, I'd nominate.. Uhhh hmmm ok never mind.. How bout a humor section, we could all submit jokes, (nominating me would be bad taste) how bout a skippers corner, for any relavent news/views..

Clearly I'm hyped about the idea, and will try to calm down a tad, but I'm thinking that it's a perfect outlet for the talent we have on board..

Padre, I LOVE the Battle of the Week idea, and I am going to solicit input, open to all squad members, to send me tales of epic battles, great stories, funny glitches, whatever, for submission as the Battle of the Month which I can post here. Send via pm and I will figure it out and post it on our thread. Lets see how it goes.

I was thinking of pilot of the week award as well, based on the stories I receive. The decisions can be made among the squad Air Marshalls for who gets the pilot of the week nod... or maybe lets consider pilot of the month, quarter, etc.

Your tale of zep games is one I have done many times. Just fly around and let the junior players enjoy some easy zeppelin points. It is normally easier than trying to switch sides, and I am not a stat-watcher anyway so I don't mind giving up points for others. That is a very classy move, Padre, and I'm not just saying that because I have done it as well.. (or am I?)

Anyway, keep kicking it around, and be sure to pass the word via squad chat or in games if you run into our guys. I would like to take the squad thread to the next level so to speak.

I even thought about a "Swap" section, where we could post said escapades of memorable Missions, or satyrical "Plane for Sale" Ads. Guys, it can be as simple or extravagant as we choose it to be.
I think a "Allied Affairs and Accolades" section would be appropriate to have our allies submit their own updates or news.
What newsletter is complete without a comic strip, or even secret family recipes for the holidays,lol. I know we have some cooks within the groups.
Event calendar,Photos,Statistics ,Surveys, polls, and feedback, Q&A,Educational articles,Feature stories,Pilot/Member spotlight or profile,Testimonials,Success stories,Letter from the Skipper, An exclusive tip of the week/month,News and announcements ,New Pilot listings...and so on and so on and so on....

Anybody else besides Viper know what a POD or DIB is or that the date and time are always expressed in hour, day, month, and year.. Because .. DUHHH.. It just makes since! (2100 hrs 07 December 2014) and I'm guessing Squeak, or Dire might have my earlier (plan of the day, daily Intel briefing) anyway with these two on board and our cooperation with submissions this thing will take off with a life of its own and be a super hit.

Okay wolves, I found a candidate for some WP love. I have been encountering a pilot named "DaHun" who has, on two occasions, flown light to the blue base so he can get a tank and spawnkill. 2 games were dogfights, one a btc, and it was consecutive games. I called him on it and he still kept on. Now I think he isn't an English speaker, which could be the reason he kept up his dastardly behavior. That being said I really would appreciate it if we could join together and show DaHun some extra attention. Just be careful, he has no problems spawnkilling in a tank.

Viper, I'll saddle up and fire up the Dragon to patrol tonight some time. DaHun, if encountered, will be shown some special attention indeed. I'll break out my Google translator if I have to, but my message will be loud and clear...MyrlinWOLF Style. Dahun..ter shall become DaHun..ted. Myrlin Out.

Thanks brothers. I had the chance to send him packing tonight as well. Keep the press on! In other news I had the good fortune to fly with a few wolves tonight.. Padre, Blacky, Dire, (Nice landing by the way) and Lord Beasley. (I hope I didn't forget anyone.) The point is it was GREAT to hunt with the Wolf Pack again... just like old times! At one point it was Padre, bwolf, and me in a dogfight with some really good pilots.... it was loads of fun twisting through the skies over the bridge with you guys.... I have no idea who won but it was lots of fun. Nice flying guys!
