Appreciate it. Ended up dislocating my elbow at waterpolo on my birthday morning so ended up pretty bad. For the record blue, my birthday was the 23rd, (wish it was the 24th because thats the same as Jim Parsons). I just posted late at night because I had been in hospital, blowing the green whistle and being under for the repairing. Hurts like hell. Got a dartboard though but now I have to learn with my left hand because I can't use my right. Might not fly much as well because I dont have much control . See you guys around on the forum.

Yeah, I play! It's a really fun game.

Is it too soon to start a squad discussion about DF2? Will NLR inhabit that soon-to-come reality as well? I imagine once DF2 arrives, DF will suffer a slow demise. Do we want to get a jump on this transition? Thoughts?

I am eagerly awaiting more info from Zup. Hopefully all stats will transfer over and it will be an easy transition. I would assume that squads would most likely need to be reformed for a new game.

My only concern would be for some of our pilots who play on tablets or phones that may not support the new game. Hopefully Zup will give us a list of devices that can run the new game without issues.

We may need to start a fund raiser to upgrade some squadmates devices lol

I just bought a new laptop and can run Skyrim with good graphics and a crap ton of mods in it without issues, so I don't think I will have any performance issues with whatever Zup throws into the new game.

I'm with you, D. I have lots of questions.

But I don't foresee stats transferring over. From Zup's rhetoric in the post - new game/new start. If one doesn't like- stick with the old. But it sounds as if Zup is looking to move past the old farts set in their old ways and start fresh.

Plus, those with huge numbers will be slow to make a dedicate change. They won't want to give up what they worked so hard for, which will give better opportunity to those less resistant. Zup is going to set-up those resistant to change to stay where they are happy, but DF1 will become like an old man in a nursing home - hardly cared for, soon to die.

The NLRs should embrace the move quickly - if it happens.

I wonder if the same will go with the forum?

I would like a fresh new start. I'm not such a sentimental character.

I'm all for transitioning to a new chapter in Dogfight. Or, at the very least, we can consider making another branch, a separate home base so to speak, for the new supposed game. That's if the original Dogfight decides to stick around. Time will tell!

If anything, we should anticipate and plan to extend the NLR's reach to the upcoming sequel.

I guess you missed yesterday's events. Her profile was broken into and was being used to post inappropriate and disturbing content on the forum. It unfortunately had to be banned to stop the perpetrators.

I'm going to post a public apology shortly on the issue.

I'm looking forward to the "fresh start".

Judging by Zuperman's past posts there are many great ideas he has tried but been unable to implement. Many times it's due to compatibility issues between different platforms. Other times it's been heart breaking to see so many of his ideas trashed by "established" players.

I'll wait to see the reports on which platforms work best then I think it may be time for a new device.

Hey. Just to clarify its my elbow, its doing alright. I'm currently on a National waterpolo tour just hurting my elbow more but I need surgery anyway so u know. Can't fly ATM BC I am only running on mobile data and don't wanna use it all.

On Sparrow, check PM. I have replied. If u need more info reply. Should be able to get onto forum though so all good for that just not gameplay.

On the topic of new talent, I'd like the squad to keep an eye out for a fine player, Tim Finn - no relation.

For the last few months, I've run into this chap frequently, and we hit it off pretty well as you can imagine. He is a very responsible player, has learned quickly (he is better than me by far, now), don't tell him I said so, and I think his flying style is much like Disrupt's and McFate's. He doesn't have much of a presence on the forum, yet. If any at all.

I gave him a nudge our way, and I think he would make a fine fit.
