Good morning, well almost afternoon,NLR....

Just wanted to stop by and pay a visit, and say hello..

While us basterdly Misfits respect you all greatly as I know you do us, w mutual feelings; I would like to inform you all of some happenings. If my memory serves me correctly I came into a game this morning and a pilot by the name of blackbandit was over my base camping, s killing, and while dropping the entire game, even though it makes for a miserable game.... Well I can deal w dropping but I know how it feels as I'm sure you all do to be pinned to a runway and no chance to take off. I think he is NLR, if not I apologize. He was dropping and trying to get over our base. I know this squad very well as I've been beaten up by the Sang s, and McFate, quite a bit, LOL. But I also know you guys have a tremendous amount of class. Just wanted to inform you of one of your pilots. Like I said droplets drive me nuts but I can deal w it, however doing so just to get over an enemy base to pad stats is uncalled for and cheap. I hope I didn't still up a hornets nest. Just trying to offer my opinion and make u all aware.

Hopefully he corrects his tactics because they have very little tact. Hope this doesn't cause a problem, would just like to see him head on instead of circling my base.

I had provisionally accepted his membership hoping to meet him on squad chat but it was not to be. Sorry to all of dogfight. "black.bandit" is no longer a member and does not represent the NLR.

I think i finally arrived into the upper ranks of DF today. One of the top 10 pilots called me a "camper"... That's right, ME... a c.a.m.p.e.r. I turn so slowly that I have to wait for the Earth to rotate to get back to base.

First time for everything.

At first, I was like, "You must be kidding me!" Then it dawned of me: I'm frustrating a top 10 ranked player so badly that his notion of reality became significantly distorted.

I assume this post was not fully written considering it ended with I.

I have myself been frustrated once or twice and called someone a camper. Sometimes the pilot is sitting above your base sk every plane until he/she runs out of ammo just to pad stats (Camping)

Other times they are covering incoming bombers and don't want you to shoot them down (tactics)

I don't know which it was (if any) but if it was the latter you won't be getting any sympathy from me. Suck it up and keep your brakes on. Very rarely have I been truly camped and most often if you time your take off properly with the throttle already high, you can get off the ground and down the enemy.


Edit: perhaps you were just stating that it was you that was being camped when you ended with "I" lol it was 5 am and I was getting ready for a flight. I still have no clue what (airfarce) was referring to

Think we are getting off on the wrong foot here.....

Yesterday I was mozying around the forum and decided to post on your thread for the first time.

I had nothing to do with the 'camper' incident.

I had just been in a game with Finn, wich was going quite well.

Finn had asked me if I was previously known by another name, because in that game I flew noob plane and called myself Airfarce....I thought kinda appropriate, since I was somewhat frustrated with some goingson inside our squad and in this game in general.

(I like the 'goingson' by the way........sounds kinda,......another word I kindasortof like.......never mind.)

I gave him some clues as to who I was, since even though not in that squad, I like to stay enigmatic.
'My collegues kept making fun of me, 'till my boss promoted me because he saw my potential. he made me head of logistics'.....

Then I got disconnected, because of a low battery warning.
I didn't like to leave our friend Finn puzzled, so I posted that message.

Moon base realty is still available. There are some fully furnished and stocked penthouse suites over looking the Sea of Serenity. We once hosted the crews of Apollo 15 and 17. (We gave them some stellar hospitality in exchange for their nondisclosure agreements.)
