Hey hey what's happening here? what's with all this commotion?

Spawkilling, either you like it or hate it. i think You should just be confident with your take off skills to get out of a spawn killing spree - if you can't then you have your self to blame for lack of skills. I can teach you how to acquire this escape the spawn kill - skill.

Spawn killing Tanks take time to reload so there is always a gap to get out alive. If you get in this situation give me a holler - I'll teach you how to become a better player. If you get frustrated then just quit. it doesn't happen to all games anyway. Just kill that freakin basterd and not allow him to be a tank next time.

Spawn killed players get frustrated because they die many times and don't get to enjoy the game. There are high ranked players who feel bad at this situation specially when they get killed by lower ranks who are better than them. They always feel being cheated just because they are high ranked they shouldn't be killed by lower ranks. Don't get too hung up on your ranks people - just believe in your skill and keep practicing.

How about the situation where you face an awesome player and always kills you head on 100% of the time? Do you blame that person for being good and better than you at this game and feel frustrated for playing against that awesome player? Or maybe you'd think he is cheating. Maybe you just want to blame all your misery to other people and do not blame your self first.

But hey - I hate spawn killing ok. So don't spawn kill me please - then I'll be good to you and dont kill you as often as I please.

Hey Ender, is this post meant to reply me? I am just making sure before I write anything, because I find it really insulting.

Could we all please take a Breather here......I have alot of respect for Von, ender and many others... I just feel this is all spinning outa control............I'm not a wordy kind of person so I'm not even gonna try............The best thing would be to sit down have a beer or kool aid and shake hands, thats impossible here......We will never all get along, we have different thought processes and attitude's....but we can keep cool, level headed....
I was in a game recently headed for a ship to bomb. I was quite a distance away and prdog spawned. I took aim and started shooting. I killed him about 3 time's and droped my bomb on him....I was called a bully....If prdog would have gotten off that ship he would have taken me down. Remember I was at a distance, My shot's were lucky. I apologise Prdog. I would do it again to get in and bomb....
As for my next statement.... I'm going to drop the MOM tag for a bit...I think it's best right now...... at least until thing's cool off....Your all friends....remember that.....

I agree with most of what ender has to say about escaping spawnkillers. I've even managed to takeoff vertically in some situations to escape. Their is one spawnkiller that its impossible to escape from no matter the skill and that is the tank at spawn point killer.

thats why if I see a tank spawnkiller at spawn point on the runway in any game other than the dogfight round (you spawn at different places in df round), I will teamkill him or her

I don't see how Enders comments are directed to any particular individual. They appear to be his opinions of Spawn Killing and players skills or lack of and also their mental capacity to comprehend their own short falls of gaming. Cool down? Stick around Dent! I think the level of discourse has been pretty good --all things considered and taking into account the occasional sub-optimal choice of words that (it turns out) don't convey the intended meaning , or the occasional response to a perceived ironic intent in the words of another that (it turns out) wasn't really there and the inevitable misunderstandings that ensue therefrom.

I find these insulting. Taking out all his views and opinions, the way he talks is insulting. I am not angry or mad, but kinda disappointed may be I am expecting all people to be in the same standard with me.

He doesn't even know that it is impossible while being spawnkilled by a tank (not an aspirant) at the base. Loading time? Hmm, even it is longer with this newer updates of the game, it is around 10 sec. You need more than 9 sec for pressing the "Retry" button, wait for spawning, and starting rolling on the runway. Nevermind, I was not gonna explain, but just wanted to let the guy know who is gonna teach me the skills. Hey Ender, as far as I remember, you were warned not to flame the forum again. Hope you won't get banned.

I've read and re-read Enders post and for the life of me I cannot find anything insulting in it. You can escape a spawn killer, you just have to be patient. Perhaps I should have gone to the falcons yesterday to complain about the falcon who flew aroundd the base and killed me maybe half a dozen times before I got of the ground and even off the ground he was on my tail and down I went. I'm not naming names, he knows who he is and it's part of the game.
It was a BTB game, so,far as I'm concerned it's legit.

Spawnkilling is always going to be an issue...I tend to deal with it...It does happen to me...
We can keep the Spawnkilling topic on the forefront, but understand, everyone feels differently. Spawnkilling is the big political issue of Dogfight, alway's will be. No matter how you feel read your friend's, opponant's, lover's post....I think you will agree most point's are valid, for or against.

Completely different topic, but one that I would love to have your help with. I know that when you become an Immortal at level 31, that you get either new planes or new paint schemes for your plane. I think I've seen the German, and I think it's an Albatross, and it looks black and white striped to me. Does the same thing happen with the Allied planes? Is it a Sopwith Snipe or something? A new paint scheme? For those of you who've completed your 12 Labors of Hercules and have been thusly rewarded, can you help a brutha out and take a pic so that I can see please?

I think my Dogfight day's may be over for awhile. I have an older android Phone (droid incredible). I just read Zuperman's thread again. My phone is 3 year's old or older. The game doesn't play well at all since the last update's. I believe it's my phone and I'm too cheap to get another... I'll keep trying but the outcome hasn't been good...
