Boy, why does it always seem that I'm at odds with the rest of you as far as who gets in and who doesn't...

Not a fan of Lapa at all. I posted about a few hundred pages ago that I thought while a very skilled player, my experiences flying against him have not been positive. IMO, whenever I have flown against him, he's not displayed the MOMlike qualities we look for in new recruits. Again, my opinion only. I see him more concerned with racking up individual kills regardless of the mission or pleas from his team to help out. If he reads this then he'll know my opinion and will answer him the same. Scheisse, Wig, I'd have to seriously consider my MOMbership. I'm much more of the Rooney family when it comes to new members of the team than Jerry Jones...

I've had nothing but good experiences with both Frko and $vela$, but I understand not everyone has had the same or feel the same way.

I haven't had the experience with Lapa that a lot of you have. He's either been quiet and businesslike or genuinely warm and friendly. I do know that he's Russian, doesn't know a ton of English, lives in Moscow and works as a "civil pilot". Not sure what he flies or for whom.

Tex, if any prospective recruit causes you or any of our original core members to have to reconsider his membership that's that. End of discussion.

Anybody seen or heard from Joe Dogss lately? Our NYC contingent is feeling lopsided...I'm worried about the boy.

Michael, Velasgirl is a self-declared gay woman formerly known in DF as Kina...until she got banned for team killing and inappropriate language. Vela is by no means my favorite player (I feel about him the way Tex feels about Lapa) but I've seen him deny any association with Velasgirl in no uncertain terms. Like, as in, brutally harshly derogatory terms. Kina claims that she's gotten past all the melodrama and abusive behavior, but I'm not buying it. For my money they're both good reasons to hit "quit" and look for a new mission.

Yeah...Dogss is MIA. Haven't seen him in a while. I have (unfortunately) seen Dawson a few times this week. Always as red and always from a chute.

Hey MOD...good flying with you (and Chanoc) the other day. To set the record straight...HAC was the guy in a tank spawn killing position (FFA mode). Saw him as I took off but no shot fired (at me). Didn't stop me from turning around and wasting him. Of course, he goes on and wins the thing!
