It takes a million points?! To get to Rank 32?!? Then you go back to being an Aspirant?!?! I find that unconscionably...uh...encouraging, actually. If 61 players get a million points each...in three or four years I'll be #1!!! Bopes, generate some hard data on that rate of ascent, if you'd be so kind. Y'know, in case I already have plans in 2016.

As a noob on this game/squad /forum, I know nothing about Jon, so I think that it would be nice if you guys posted a thread telling who he was, and what did he do.

...'nuff said. Thanks Coop. Those who want more details might want to search Coop or Strachan's comments on the forum. All of that is nice to know, but for me it was what Duck brought to the game, his joy in the play, his openness to comradeship...all in the face of ungodly pain. Miss ya Duck.

I just had a weird idea (not sure if I'll put it on, just wondering):

- Considering that Z deserves much more money than what I already paid him until now for this awesome game;
- Considering that I don't want to leave MOM; and
- Considering that I really want to see a Brazilian Squad running,

I am seriously thinking about buying this game once more, with another Google account of course, to be sort of a "double personality pilot", only to be able to create a new squad. I know, there will be some serious downsides, like being forced to rank up all the way up with the new account, and losing some precious time ranking up my main "identity", blah, blah, blah...
So, feel free to laugh at me and mock me about this crazy idea, guys... I need some feedback anyway, to see if it is feasible, or if I better forget about this stupidity.

Not a good Idea at all Legend.... Do you remember reporting Nobody.....did you ever realise that was me.....I change my name only once in a great while (3 times now since I've been playing). I changed my name because I felt many people would focus on me.. Changing my name was a relief I noticed a difference. Tell ya what I'm gonna change my name and if you shoot me down as a teammate I'm gonna be real PO'd.

This "hunting fake MOMs" thing is going to bring some trouble to MOMs ourselves!
I think that it would be better if some forum's moderator or administrator change the way people sign on squads.
Taking me as an example: Soon after I joined this forum, I noticed the fun around being a MOM; and being not aware of the MOM's rules, I entered the Tools section and subscribed MOM without being invited to, and played a few games with the tag without knowing that I needed to be accepted firsthand. And I believe that many other noobs are doing the same thing, meaning no harm to MOM at all - they are just unaware of rules, simple as this!
It's just a matter of communication, not a reason for team-killing!

This MOM thread is not only the largest thread in the forum but we are over double the 111th thread in posts! We are quickly becoming the most viewed thread, as well. Not only that but the squad has grown far bigger than anyone would have thought. Who knew there were so many old nerdy guys playing this game or younger folks that just liked the idea of hanging with the old nerdy guys. (But sadly not enough women, which has really been the story of my life.)

As we've grown (like any large family) we are going to disagree on things. In large families, folks will grow apart but hopefully come together when it's needed. Duck had a post about this when talking about his little sister.

I think all any of us can do is remember why we are a part of this strange little group and be true to this. With regards to rules, the main thing I fall back on is what does this game allow you to do. It allows tank spawn killing, it allows players to select any squad tag and it allows team killing. I would prefer for the game to deal with these problems automatically but in the end when I see them in the game I take my own course of action. Not because I am a MOM but because of me. I don't expect all of MOM to agree with my individual actions and I rather like the thought that MOM doesn't have that many rules (other than #6, which is a struggle to follow if I can be honest about it).

With regards to some of the harder hitting real-life issues that pop up in this forum from time-to-time. I fully respect the posters opinions but this really isn't the place. I am amazed how well we've done staying out of religion, politics, cake recipes, etc. Lets stay true to this as we move forward.

One of the big thrills of this game is getting into a battle and seeing 4 or 5 MOMs in action. I love testing my skills against yours because I know that the members of this squad or some of the best in the game.

Simmo, I wish I was able to share the whole story Of Jon but i cant out of respect for his family and close friend I will do just that.As a military man myself I understand where you were coming from.So I will ask you to just take my word as a former SSGT on this issue as I was very relived to find out the truth myself.
